Excellent please for bird watchers. It's a beautiful lagoon and named as Daws lagoon. I am not a regular bird watcher. I was just a spectator. It's a beautiful place with picnic area and plenty of parking. Barbecue and kids play area. But I would recommend it to someone who likes peace and enjoy nature and wildlife. I could see regular birds such as noise Maynard, lorikeet, magpie, crows and some not so regular birds such as pelican, black swan, magpie goose, ducks, purple birds(I don't know the name). At least 15 kinds of bird...

Maybe the surrounding parkland isn't anything special, but the lagoon is picturesque. Moreover, a wide variety of birdlife have made this place their home.

A track runs around the entirety of the lagoon and the local council has done well in creating numerous access points that bring you down to the water's edge. It's from here that you can really appreciate the views and also catch a glimpse of the aquatic birds going about their...
