The food & service was poor, looks like there is a change in management. We would frequent it often, but now will not go back. Management was not apologetic & appeared entitled when informed about the poor quality of the food & not the right order.
To your response let me please inform that when I asked the girl serving for veg options, she was not sure, so she got the chef, who confirmed that there was a mistake in the menu & one of the burger should have makers as V Due to my sensory issue, I requested you to please have the service door not banging, which was ridiculed right in front of me & continued with the loud bang noise, which should never be the case with any kitchen service doors. You could have moved us away on another table.
We requested chips on the side, as the sandwich dnt come with chips we were informed, we clarified 3 times when the girl asked, so that we could share it being a vegetarian. You suggested to take the plates back & get the chips out in a seperate bowl, even after we said the chips are cold, you dnt offer to make fresh ones, only a small few of them in the portion. We eventually left the chips on our plate uneaten.
We politely reiterated things to the serving girl each time she dnt understand & checked with the chef or yourself & we even politely mentioned to you at the time of payment & you dismissed everything saying that the chef is excellent & our service is great.
So as a paying customer we were not even acknowledged of any grief that this might have caused. Not all customers will have the same experience & few of us are differently abled & need to be heard & actioned, but just saying sorry & not doing anything about it. Good Luck & wish you all...

I've been a regular customer of Corner Cafe 26 for about five years. I keep coming back because every experience has been consistently positive. Despite enduring floods, Covid, Delays with renovations, and other personal circumstances, the cafe still stands strong. The staff always makes a great effort to make the place feel like home.
The staff greets me with a smile and is very accommodating. The food, cooked by Yan and the other chefs, is always delicious. However, their French toast stands out and is unmatched by any other cafe I've visited.
What sets Corner Cafe 26 apart is its amazing customer service. Even when I had an issue with a different dish, the staff quickly addressed it and ensured my satisfaction. Their coffee is always great, and the baristas, Carol and Sarah, are experts at making delicious coffee. Everyday, especially on their busiest days, like Sundays, the waitresses - especially Luna - are friendly, efficient, and welcoming. I've seen them handle difficult customer situations gracefully and professionally, which shows how much they care about their customers.
