Unfortunately I am forced to put one star. I must say that I find it amazing that these days a customer still appears to be begging for a favour when s/he goes to the counter and asks the lovely person behind it if they are open because this same customer wants to spend money with them. The lovely person at the counter does not even look into the customer's eyes, murmurs something whilst looking down.. so the customer walks away because the lovely counter person also did, but the customer this time walks away to implore for an answer. The lovely lady indistinctively says something like.. Yeah, we are open. (this is around 5am). Also, worth it mentioning that when the highly expected glamorous long black was ready, she lets it cooling down on her counter for ages and even complains to her colleague that "this one has been sitting here for ages" as though it's another ball drop from the inexcusable annoying customer..
C'mon guys! It's 2017 and within a 100m radius there were at least 5 coffee places, including free ones within the Lounge. So, could I beg you to try just a little harder next time?

Read moreThis was a hard choice… 1 or 2 stars. I went with 2 because it could have been worse, even though the experience was not great at all. Definitely below average.
My skinny cappuccino was not enjoyable at all. I threw it in the bin unfortunately, but at least it came out relatively quickly. I also ordered an açai bowl which after 20 minutes, I asked where it was and 2 minutes later, our comes a bowl that had clearly just been thrown together in a panic as it was forgotten. Rookie move getting an açai bowl at the airport to be honest, not sure what I expected but any way. It was very lacklustre… so when you combine that with a forgotten meal, long wait time and sub par coffee, I’d say 2 stars is pretty generous.
End result, next time I’m at BNE, I certainly won’t be purchasing anything from this joint. Far better options elsewhere in the airport so do yourself a favour and...
Read moreFirstly; I just want to say I am not impressed with the shop. It took the staff to acknowledge 5 minutes that I was at the counter, and when they did there was no a “Hello, how are you etc?”. I do understand it’s Brisbane airport, but as a customer the least you could do is apologise for the delay, and greet nicely.
Secondly; I ordered eggs benedict with salmon and a hash brown. Attached in the photos is what I received and what was charged to my card (photos attached).
The waitress then threw it on the table with no manners, or even said anything nor offer water. I couldn’t even call her over as she disappeared.
I work with people everyday and am disgusted by this ordeal, I’d like a full refund back to my bank account and a phone call to discuss this further. I know life is busy; but is be nice to much to ask for?
