ā 1 Star The barista at Seeds was, without question, the rudest customer service experience Iāve ever had. Unwelcoming, dismissive, and completely lacking in basic courtesy.
I politely asked if they could make a matcha using my own powder ā happy to pay full price for the almond milk ā and was met with hostility. I understand if there are policies against this, but thereās no excuse for the way it was handled. Once I was brushed off, the barista immediately went back to smiling and laughing with others.
When I gently mentioned that a little warmth goes a long way, I received another glare. For context, I was travelling solo with three small children under seven. A small act of kindness would have made an enormous difference.
I walked next door to the deli instead ā they happily helped, did it with a smile, and turned my morning around.

He ordered a breakfast meal and coffee, politely asked the person who took his order if they could bring it to his table because he was feeling very shakey and weak. They refused to do this, cancelled his order and then ignored him. He went to another venue and was treated very kindly and with empathy. Iām quite furious about the appalling attitude displayed by this...

The size of the food on one piece of toast was smaller than the wooden cutlery provided. The toast was hard like the wooden fork and knife could not cut through it. It was more like a hard biscuit. Had to eat with hands in the end. The serving size was tiny like a quarter of what we are used to at many other cafes/restaurants. Ordered two drinks also. Order came to almost $60! Rip...
