⭐ 1 Star The barista at Seeds was, without question, the rudest customer service experience I’ve ever had. Unwelcoming, dismissive, and completely lacking in basic courtesy. I politely asked if they could make a matcha using my own powder — happy to pay full price for the almond milk — and was met with hostility. I understand if there are policies against this, but there’s no excuse for the way it was handled. Once I was brushed off, the barista immediately went back to smiling and laughing with others. When I gently mentioned that a little warmth goes a long way, I received another glare. For context, I was travelling solo with three small children under seven. A small act of kindness would have made an enormous difference. I walked next door to the deli instead — they happily helped, did it with a smile, and turned my morning around. Seeds markets itself as a healthy option, but that’s misleading. Even their peanut products are loaded with sugar and additives. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and invests in some real customer service training. A simple smile and a bit of empathy can change someone’s entire day.

Credit surcharge is also applied to debit cards. There is only tiny label on the machine which doesn’t mention the percentage or debit cards. The young lady working there had no idea what the percentage was. Is this not a requirement to advertise this? They are not advertising the prices they are charging. Food was massively over priced and not good. Bread from 3 days ago. Surely with such high prices the credit surcharge is also built into their prices. Where are the airport police?!

Doing that whole ā€˜clean eating’ health thing again. Probably your best bet for healthy fresh food at Brissy domestic, with a good selection of salads, juices, frittatas etc. Food was tasty and all, just hard to justify $16 for the portion size of the salad. I know that everything’s overpriced these days, especially at the airport. But doesn’t mean I’m ok with it.

Shame you can’t rate it zero. A relative, after visiting family in Brisbane and who is very weak from treatments for severe condition, went into the Seeds cafe at Brisbane airport. He ordered a breakfast meal and coffee, politely asked the person who took his order if they could bring it to his table because he was feeling very shakey and weak. They refused to do this, cancelled his order and then ignored him. He went to another venue and was treated very kindly and with empathy. I’m quite furious about the appalling attitude displayed by this...

Ordered the poached eggs on toast, eggs Benedict only came with one egg so ordered another one and smashed avo for three of us. Look at the photo. The size of the food on one piece of toast was smaller than the wooden cutlery provided. The toast was hard like the wooden fork and knife could not cut through it. It was more like a hard biscuit. Had to eat with hands in the end. The serving size was tiny like a quarter of what we are used to at many other cafes/restaurants. Ordered two drinks also. Order came to almost $60! Rip...
