Still getting over the shocking experience that my elderly mother and I was subjected to on Wednesday. As I lined up to order lunch, my mother sat at one of their chairs in a half empty restaurant. The Japanese kitchen staff came out yelling out, out to my mum. I said to the man that if our presence makes him unhappy, we will leave. He just turned his back and mumbled away. I repeated and he ignored us. If it was not for the Ramen being the only place in the shopping centre that served food that my mum could eat, we would not have hesitated to leave. Bad attitude staff. No greating, just yelling. Usually Japanese people are so welcoming. Shame on you old man. Ramen was below par too. Will never go back here👎👎👎
Follow up response. I find it hard to accept your version of events. There was only one Indian gentleman in line of me to order. The restaurant was not even half full and my mother sat at the entrance. It was towards the end of lunch so not a busy time. Not sure how "Out! Out!" could be misinterpreted. Located in the main foodcourt on level 3, one can eat within the space of the venue or out in the main foodcourt. The food comes out quickly, great portions & is delicious!!!
Plenty of space for mobility vehicles & prams, with amenities right around the corner.
To get here, catch the 444 bus from the city or the train to Indooroopilly station. There is free undercover parking in the shopping centre & then paid parking after a few hours. Main entrance to the venue is from the bus interchange.
If you want easy, delicious & easy food this is the place for you! Highly recommend & will...
Read moreBeen here a few times when passing through. Definitely the store is perhaps struggling to meet the standards of some of the others. Soups a strange colour and always very oily. The older lady on the counter is incredibly abrupt (both with staff and customers, makes it a little uncomfortable.) And takes our orders even without seats available(???) I was surprised to see one of the guys from market square there(one of the nicest staff i met so far), he made my friends dish and then got sent to the back(??) My dish followed shortly made by the other man. the noodles weren't even cooked and the gyoza was broken. My friend was very pleased with hers, how can there be such a difference?? Maybe market square is trained better. Disappointing as I thought it was a great chain to rely on good food. Apparently...
