My father in law, who previously enjoyed coming here daily for coffee and the occasional breakfast deal - Bacon and Egg Flat Grill (without the bacon, as he does not eat bacon) for $10. He had ordered this offer multiple times before with no issues, especially when Charlie & another manager was around. However, this visit was completely different and disappointing. Keeping in mind, English is not his first language. He attended with my partner and asked for the same item without bacon, but the manager, Marcel, was extremely rude and unhelpful. He initially said it couldn’t be done - this is a ready item, then offered a workaround that turned out to be just scrambled eggs with wrap, insisting it would be different. He decided to go ahead and ordered coffee as well. When the bill came, it was close to $40 instead of the expected $30 for the food and coffee for the both of them. The receipt showed every item ordered separately with scrambled eggs, wrap, cheese, etc.—resulting in a total of $39.69 (picture of receipt attached to this review). Normally this would be okay, but with the special for $10 it makes no sense to pay upwards of $15-17 for a lessor item. When he questioned Marcel about the overcharge, he stubbornly insisted that removing the bacon was not an option. My partner stepped in at that point and asked for a refund and when Marcel gave the money back, it was less than what he paid. He said he did not realise and gave us the full amount after he pointed it out. A week later, my father in law was at the complex and wanted to give his favourite place another go, he and my partner encountered Charlie, the manager who had previously accommodated my father in laws order without any issues. To their surprise, Charlie backed Marcel's decision and said that’s just how it is now and made mention that he had “heard about the incident” that previously transpired with Marcel. It was briefly explained to Charlie what had happened, the history qnd my partner asked if he can still give dad his usual order. He offered to custom-make the order but add another $39.96, again ordering everything separately. My partner understood the feat & paid it and sat down. To make matters worse, Charlie then proceeded to approach my partner and father in laws table to let them know they will need to pay extra for relish, bringing the total to a high price of $44 (I assume $2 relish here) for something that should be $20 +/- with coffees at most, especially considering they weren’t asking for bacon, being one less ingredient. They had requested a refund, which Charlie initially refused, claiming the order had already started even though they had just placed it. After some back and forth, he finally refunded their food but not the coffee. When the coffee came, my father in laws takeaway was not a takeaway, so he had to sit there and drink it. Left highly disappointed and will never return. Charlie then comes to dad’s table offering an $11 option next time and provided a receipt to bring (as per picture attached to this review) but why was this not an option prior, given my father in laws frequent to this cafe? It was all made a big ordeal for nothing, leaving my father in law feeling mistreated. This venue clearly does not value its loyal customers or provide consistent service. My father in law visited this place daily whenever he was in Australia for months on end, but after this experience, we will never be back.

Save your tongue, time and money: go to literally **any** other cafe in the centre. Worst value brunch on the planet. I ordered the breakfast bruschetta for a whopping 17.90. The picture says it all: zero dukkah, zero pesto, and a measly teaspoon of balsamic glaze you can barely taste. Three big old rings of onion that I had to cut myself, a handful of raw cherry tomatoes. Poached egg was undercooked with raw egg white. In fact, everyone's food seemed undercooked which I suppose you have to do when there's only 2.5 people in the kitchen. I was so hungry by the time it arrived, I ate it. Tried to get someone's attention a few times to simply get some more balsamic, to no avail. Service is poor, because there are simply not enough staff, so you're waiting a good 30min for food and can't get anyone's attention. Crowded and noisy, but this is par for the course at Indooroopilly on a Saturday.

Quite an average experience unfortunately. It was a week out from Christmas, however the service was lacking, the food was okay and the wait time was just ridiculous. The glasses were dirty, water was luke warm and our tomato sauce had a skin on it.. suggesting it was sitting for quite some time. My avocado was added to the side rather than inside my food as asked and the chip portion size was laughable. We ordered a passionfruit iced tea which tasted like passionfruit cordial with passionfruit bits in. Overall, a very average experience and would suggest looking at other options.

This place has gone down hill massively in recent times in particular in the last couple of weeks I have experienced lack of attention to detail.

When staff have taken my when ordering say a brownie no offer of cream etc or when ordering a drink with my support person and they order a drink they do not ask if we are paying together or separately they just assume I am paying it all.

Today we came and had lunch I ordered food and a drink they forget my drink and claimed I did not order it and made me pay for it.

A young girl who apparently was one of the managers very passive aggressively slowly me the receipt as if to prove I did not pay for it and rub it in my face.

Then proceeded to make fun of me behind the counter with the girl who incorrectly took my order in the first place.

When giving feedback no offer of apology of compliments of the house for their error.

Then all of a sudden another manager came up to us very aggressively with no hi or introducing of himself and instead he just accused me of swearing at their staff when I did not leave my seat.

I tried to give more feedback on how I feel and how I observed the staff making fun of me and this situation but this man would not have it and basically said it was all in my head and would not have it no apology this nothing.

He just dismissed me and made me feel like I was nothing and that I got my drink so all was well.

I felt very threatened and intimidated by him.

This male male manager also needs to go back and learn higenine as his long hair was not tired back correctly for someone working in the food industry.

This place really needs to get back to being more professional and back to basics with their service before this...

I have ordered from the coffee club Indooroopilly via the Uber eats app for my lunch for work today. When the order was placed around approximately 10:38am this morning, I was given an estimated time of arrival of 11:50am. I did pay extra to prioritise my meal for it to be sent over earlier. This time was then was delayed every 10 mins until it had finally arrived at 12:15pm. I called at 12:08pm to the Coffee Club to express my feelings on the delay in my delivery. I asked why it was taking so long and was informed they were awaiting on a driver. I then proceeded to then ask when was my food prepared and how long had it been sitting for. The employee was unable to tell me when my food was finished and that it had been sitting under a heat lamp and will still be fine. Once the driver arrived with my food, I asked the driver how long it took him to receive my meal. He had replied he had been waiting at the shopping centre and proceeded to wait another 5 minutes at the coffee club for my order to be handed over. By the time my food had gotten to me, it was cold and the sour cream had curdled. This is poor service and I would much like to hear...
