Archer Coffee and Bagels (Indooroopilly) — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Absolutely disgusting service today at Indooroopilly.

I was up waiting for my coffee order and thought I saw someone grab my order when it was ready. I waited a bit more and then became convinced mine was no longer there.

I politely went to ask a girl who was clearing up a table as she walked back in if there has been an order for Zoe. She rudely told me she wouldn’t know as she had her hands full. Fair call on the hands full part but I simply said, oh yes sorry no problems. I waited close to the counter to grab her when she was free and she continued to purposely ignore the fact I was there and had asked her a question. I grabbed her again and said I was sorry but just wanted to find out. She rudely fobbed me off as I was trying to explain I thought someone had taken my order. When she finally understood I wasn’t being difficult about the wait time but actually thought my order had gone somewhere else, she sorted it out and had our coffees remade.

At one point, I even had to tell her to stop being rude to me as I wasn’t being rude to her and that this wasn’t how you treat customers.

It was absolutely packed and of course everyone feels for staff having to work in those conditions. But there is no excuse for bad customer service.

It might also be a good opportunity to remind staff to be kind because you have no idea what is going on in the lives of people you are...

I really cannot recommend this place enough and trust me I've tried because I rave about Archer coffee til the cows come home!! I come here on days I don't even feel like a coffee because it's that good. But what really makes me love this place is the service. Shout out to my absolute faves Marco, Ben, Emily, Jane and there's another lovely girl and I don't know her name but she's rocking some great eyelash extensions right now... I love all of you guys hehe every member of staff who has served me here has the absolute best energy and they are all so charismatic, fun, bubbly and dress very trendy too lol oh and I also love that Tom guy that works at the Chermside one, absolute legend!! Archer coffee should be so proud to not only sell the best coffee ever but also for having such high quality staff that never fail to brighten my day!! - Cat ps. extra special thank you to Marco for always remembering my order and making it so speedy, love...

I have tried Archer a few times and I have to say the service is absolutely terrible. I have only gone there for the cinnamon bagel and the first time it took 15 minutes to come out and the staff obviously do not care at all about their customers. I just went there for another cinnamon bagel and the girl didn’t put cinnamon on it. When she handed to me, she shoved it in my hand and turned around as quickly as she could to go to something else, without saying anything. Even I saw there was no cinnamon on the bagel, I went back and the guy at the coffee station said, “what’s up?”. I replied that I had ordered the cinnamon bagel & there was no cinnamon on it. He gave it to the girl, she put some on cinnamon on and shoved it in my hand without an apology or even looking at me. Abysmal experience. I have no idea who’s training these people but they need to...
