Litse Lounge — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Wife and I have been regularly patrons of Litse over the years and we’ve never had a bad experience there. We generally book to make sure that we can sit where we prefer - and generally that is in the alfresco section. We’ve often been there with larger groups and I can’t recall ever having an issue with the orders. Also, I can never recall a time where a glass or cutlery may have needed an extra wipe. The prices are very good - service is prompt and the owner is the waitress and even though she is sometimes very busy, she still can enjoy a laugh! The atmosphere is not perfect as the Woolworth’s car park road is close by but, Litse has roll up plastic blinds dulling noise, wind and rain. I've been a long time customer at Litse, especially known by the old owners. However, ive found that since the owner swap the food doesn't taste as good and it was quite disappointing (im not sure if it was placebo effect or not), despite the "bigger range," as it had before hand and it took almost 40 minutes for our entrees to come out (croquettes and 2 other things) and whilst Atmosphere was the same it was a bit disappointing as ive celebrated many occassions there with the family over the last decade because it was nearby and good. We visited Litse Lounge tonight and ordered some light tapas, drinks, and mains and everything was completely perfect from start to finish. The dishes and service from the kitchen and two floor staff was amazing. In particular, the service from Jacob was the best we've ever received in all of our years of dining out - so much so we were still talking about it on the drive home. It's not often you go out to dinner and witness such genuine care in the staff about the work that they do.
