Taco Bell Keperra — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Difficult to rate an outlet that has only just opened. We visited the Keperra outlet today not realising it was newly opened and there was a queue out of the door! The queue moved quickly and we luckily bagged a seat. After about 20 mins of waiting, I soon realised that everyone was still waiting for their order. The drive through was also queuing down the road. After 30 mins I enquired about our order to make sure it was in progress and was told it would be another 5 mins. 10 mins later it was ready. 40 mins is an unacceptable waiting period and there were many unhappy customers asking for refunds after waiting so long with no food. I felt sorry for the team really; they were all busy and I think they were overwhelmed by the Friday evening surge, especially being xmas holiday week. Maybe the service will improve in time. Prices are cheaper than GYG, and portion size is reasonable. I found the food a little bland to be honest, but reasonable value and made a change. Oct 16 at 7:30pm - came here the second time around as we thought the food was nice. First visit a week ago the girl in the counter was a bit abrupt, so I didn’t pay attention maybe she’s having a bad day. 2nd visit today, after a tiring day, me and my family decided to go here instead for dinner, AGAIN, the girl who took our order, no smile, no greetings, abrupt, just took the order, simple, again I didn’t mind. This time, I ordered Chipotle Melt, supposedly 1burrito, 2 tacos? But i only got 1burrito, 1 taco? Where’s the other taco? I asked, and she didn’t even check or clarified as to why I asked I only got 1 taco? Supposedly to be 2? Am I blind the menu shows 2 taco. See picture… Very disappointing, not coming back here anymore just to experience it the 3rd time. Staff need to be trained properly for CUSTOMER SERVICE, a smile would have sufficed.

Note: i also noticed, they just jammed everything in one bag, so we have to work it out which order goes to who. Maybe just the way it is,...

I had higher expectations for my first visit. I thought it was a restaurant where you sad down, ordered from a waitress, perhaps was able to have a beer, etc (like Sizler). My bad, no, it's a fast food outlet. Fine for kids, not adults. I guess that's my fault. The food was OK for takeaway style food given to you in a bag. As expected, the whole place is run by 16 yr olds, with not a mature adult in sight, and no offence to the young staff on duty. I will give full credit to the young girl on the front counter as she was holding down the fort single-handedly and certainly was understaffed. On a busy night, at the start of a long weekend, the poor rostering was apparent. The back of house staff did not help her at any stage, but it was very clear that they all were working at capacity and hats off to them. Very poor rostering, and lack of forethought indeed.
