The Manly Deck is a block away from the waterfront.

When you step into the restaurant, you are welcomed by a laid back atmosphere. There's serveal places you can sit to eat outside on the veranda or inside listening to some good entertainment from a variety of local bands. People, with no prior reservation, are welcomed to wait until there is availability for them to be seated.

The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouth-watering starters followed by the main course, specially designed for youngsters and adults during the day & becomes an adults domain at night. We went on a special, for a free bucket of prawns, (you heard me right FREE) the prawns we had were local, fresh & very tasty. I've been here many times & I've always had a good experience.

All the foid is fresh and enjoyable. The restaurant also offers various types of drinks, the drinks are average priced & they have some great cocktails at good prices.

The owner is full of warmth and thoughtful of his guests. He is always around ready to hear all types of experiences from you and the rest of the guests. The service we received from the staff was good.

I highly recommend giving The Manly Deck restaurant a go, so you can experience, a good selection of different foods, local music & your just a hop skip & jump away from...

We myself and my mum are regular clients, with regular I mean for more than a year we having lunch at the deck every wednesday! . Each we have 2 cocktails, entry and a main. When the bold guy ( don't know his name) was working there, the service was outstanding! He was friendly, made us feel welcome and the cocktails where presented like a cocktail should look and taste like. We were always looking forward to our Wednesday lunch. Since after Christmas we have find the service is crap, the cocktails are so bad ( ice, a lot of it, barely alcohol in it, and they taste like soft drinks) that we having now a wine instead. The service is not even worth 1 star. We have to grab our own cutlery and the plates with food gets set on the table, no interaction from staff or even an enjoy your meal is been said. Not asking how was your meal. It went from a solid 5* to a poor 1* and unfortunately we won't be back again. We have given it 3 months to pick up their game, and they didn't.its sad as we loved the deck and the view and the food, and the always friendly staff who greeted us every Wednesday with " my favourite customers" since he left it went...

So on the 17/03 we dined as a group of 8. To which 5 of us order steaks. 3 ordered chicken schnitzels. Only 1 came out with the steaks and the other 2 was still waiting until everyone else had finished their meals. When approaching the manager her would not give an reason why this happened. All he said there was a technical issue. Then we asked to speak with the owner of the business. He was nothing but rude. Even after we explained that we supported them during the beginning of COVID 19 when they was struggling to get orders. He explained the reason for no meals was the printer did no print the order in the kitchen. He then went on to say the only reason we was complaining was because we had both also worked in hospitality. We explained we have dined there twice and this is the second time this has occurred! We also explained it is not OK that someone orders a Entree and it comes out 10 minutes after everyone else’s mains. We strongly do not recommend this place for dinning!
