Dinner was great. Arrived just after 6pm, we had three adults, one young child and one baby in the pram. They said pick whichever table we preferred. The waitress could answer any question about items on the menu and was very helpful. They were great about making sure nothing too hot (such as tea) or breakable was in front of the child. They brought him a kids spoon for his food. The food itself was really tasty. The entrees came out one at a time, with a bit of a gap in between which wasn't ideal but the entrees were lovely and hot, so the pause between the entrees being served was good to allow it to cool down. We weren't sure what size fried rice to get for all of us, so the waitress suggested the small. She said if it's not enough, they can make a bit more and get the large. The small was definitely enough. The mains were all nice and hot as well and again, brought out when they were made instead of getting it cooler waiting until all the meals were ready. We got containers to take home what we couldn't finish. There was quite a lot cause it was really filling. They were prompt at taking plates away and didn't hover, which made it a very pleasant night. They had a long stream of people taking away, so obviously a very popular place. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Where to start. We ordered a $90 takeaway order told it would be 20 mins waited over a 1.15 minutes for it 50 mins in store. Our order was given to someone else they could figure out what had gone on. In the meantime new people placed orders & they received theirs first. Asian lady in charge was the one who gave our order to wrong person & then proceeded to yell and I mean yell at young 16yr old girl about the mistake. But we waited for them to re cook ours supposedly but when we got it home well that was the kicker. Rice was cold, noodles weren't cooked still hard, soggy honey chicken & stone cold along with terrible flavoured pepper beef. They had given us a couple of free things we didn't ask for but obviously what they had done was kept what they could from other order & just added to ours so no wastage. Terrible. Firstly they managed to switch our order with someone else(this happened again whilst we were waiting to collect our replacement), so we got home from collection and realised we had the wrong food. After calling the restaurant they arranged to redo our order for us to collect. This took a further 45 minutes, meaning our total wait time from initial order was an hour and 20 minutes. When we finally got our order and began to eat it we were completely disappointed. We’ve never had a Chinese meal with such little flavour. The ‘chow mein’ we ordered tasted like packed chicken noodles, the chicken dishes were slimy and the Mongolian lamb had no flavour. We left most of the food as it was inedible.
