One day, as I stepped into the restaurant, I noticed Alec meticulously preparing orders with a focused determination. Despite the busy kitchen, he appeared to be in his element, skillfully flipping patties, assembling buns, and adding just the right amount of toppings.
Curious about the artistry behind the burgers I loved so much, I struck up a conversation with Alec during a moment of respite. He shared his passion for cooking and explained that making burgers was more than just a job for him; it was an opportunity to bring joy to people through food.
Over time, we developed a warm rapport. Whenever I entered Maccas Bracken Ridge, Alec would greet me with a smile and inquire about my day. His genuine interest in his customers created a welcoming and familiar atmosphere within the restaurant.
One busy afternoon, I found myself in a rush, trying to grab a quick bite between errands. The lines were long, and the pressure in the kitchen was intense. As I anxiously waited for my order, Alec spotted me and recognized the urgency in my expression.
With incredible efficiency, he swiftly prepared my favorite burger and handed it to me with a smile, saying, "Here you go, mate! I made it extra special for you. Hope this brightens your day!"
His thoughtful gesture touched my heart, and I realized that Alec's dedication to his craft went beyond simply flipping burgers. He took pride in every order he prepared, treating each one as an opportunity to make someone's day a little better.
From that day on, I often sought out Maccas Bracken Ridge not only for the delectable burgers but also for the uplifting experience of interacting with Alec. His passion and care for his work were contagious, and it was evident that he had a positive impact on both customers and his fellow employees.

Read moreIf I could give this place negative infinity stars, I would. I go to this McDonald's regularly because it's the closest to my house, and they are the WORST. Most of the time, they tell me to park around the side for my order in the drive-thru because they can't handle my simple order. They constantly give me the wrong order. Like how incompetent can you be, you're not children. And this isn't just rude; it's incredibly inconvenient because I've had to drive all the way back to ask for the correct order MULTIPLE times. And don't get me started on the staff, they are the most annoying and rudest people ever.
I understand if you're busy and ask me to park around the side of the drive-thru for my order, but yesterday I ordered 10 MINUTES ahead on the McDonald's app and saw literally ZERO customers. When I went to pick up my order through the drive-thru, I expected it to be ready. But no, the lazy, rude staff still couldn't prepare my order in that long time and told me to park around.
When I finally got to eat my food, I expected it to be the best food ever, considering the time they took. But of course, these lazy staff couldn't even make decent food. First of all, my two large fries were only filled HALFWAY! HALFWAY! And I found lettuce in my chicken and cheese burger. Is it called a lettuce and chicken and cheese burger? NO, IT IS NOT! And McDonald's, why do you only put half a slice of cheese in the chicken and cheese burger? I can barely taste the cheese. And this isn't the FIRST time these incidents happen. They happen literally ALL the time.
PLEASE, GET NEW, BETTER STAFF AND FIRE THESE ONES BECAUSE CLEARLY, THEY ARE INCOMPETENT, LAZY, AND PROBABLY EATING...
Read moreI am incredibly picky and hard to please. However, I had to write a review on this store, their wonderful service, staff and owner. Now, the owner Rod and his staff are all absolutely wonderful, great at what they do and they genuinely care about their customers and also the community. They are quick, consistent and super friendly. We have been going to Bracken Ridge Mcdonalds and the surrounding ones for years, and this one is by far the best. Out of all the years, we have only had our order mixed up twice. And it was something as little as forgetting one thing off a $68 order. We phoned them and Rod the managed was so apologetic and said our next order was absolutely FREE to the value of the entire $68. Seriously he was way too generous. And today, all coffee orders were free. They are the only McDonald's around that still serve BLTs. I seriously can't speak highly enough out Bracken Ridge McDonalds. And I don't personally know any of the staff. It was Rod who made the effort to connect with us, joke with us and encourage his staff to all do the same. He really does lead by example and takes care of his...
