Mediterranean Flames Cafe — Restaurant in Brisbane City

This is the first time we tried this cafe, but it definitely won't be the last. The best chips I've ever had! They’re so fresh and it's obvious they're homemade. Absolutely delicious.

My husband ordered the Beef Burger with the lot (so yum), our daughter had the Chicken Schnitzel Burger (equally yum), and I went for the Turkish Bread with Halloumi and Mushroom (very yum). The flat white coffee with almond milk was out of this world.

The service was amazing too. The husband and wife running the place worked in perfect harmony without needing to talk, almost as if they were mind readers. The husband prepared everything with the precision of a surgeon.

Everything was so perfect. Our only regret is that we didn’t know about this place sooner. We will definitely be coming back very soon and ordering exactly...

I ordered a bunch of sides as I usually do because I don't like eggs or cheese for breakfast and when I went to pay I was charged more than I calculated as she charged me for the vegetarian breakfast. this would have been fine if she let me know when I ordered. I usually order sides and the last place I went to gave me a discount because I was just ordering sides. if she told me I was going to be charged the price of the veggie breakfast I would have asked for the things that come with it like the sourdough, pesto and rocket. I tried explaining to her that it would be good if she could let people know the price would be different if they're making a breakfast out of sides but it didn't really seem like she was taking in what...

Don't be deceived by the 80's tiles and daggy entry to this cafe, which is an old fish and chip ship, but is now stocked with other more modern cafe foods. Fish burger for under $10 is terrific - fresh panini bun, freshly grilled Lamb wrap with salad was excellent. Skinny cap with Byron Bay coffee co beans was good, and they stock classy cool drinks - Bundaberg range, other gourmet soft drinks, etc. And the baklava (the most obvious nod to 'mediterranean') and cakes look impressive - next time. 5 stars for this review doesn't mean 5 star restaurant - but it does mean 5 star freshness and...
