Noodle Box Carindale — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Tonight I was reminded why I haven't had Noodle Box for a long time. Ordered online for pick up and app advised that food will be ready in 10 minutes. We headed for pick up and the food hasn't even been cooked so waited another 10 minutes. There's a special promo of free prawn crackers but when we tried to claim they asked for a code. We advised of the promo code we provided at check out before paying online and they kept telling us no. There were no other codes provided but I didn't want to stand there arguing over a lame bag of prawn crackers So we get home, and opened our food (2 x fried rice and sweet and sour pork with rice). Both fried rice were tasteless and in the sweet and sour there were literally 3 pieces of pork which were all fat, the pineapple tasted foul, it was definitely off so we put straight in the bin. Have ordered from here quite a few times before and never had issues. Ordered 2 big bowls tonight, one of which was a regular choice for us (the Satay chicken). Not sure if they changed the recipe or forgot part of it but it was disgusting. The other bowl was basically just noodles, with maybe 3 pieces of chicken and a sprinkle of grated carrot. The recipe on their online website says a few different vegetables including bean shoots… called up to let them know that 1 bowl was inedible and the other was missing half the ingredients and before I even said what my order was, the girl on the phone told me “the Honey soy has no bean shoots” and continued to say that even when I read the ingredient list off the website to her. Terrible experience. The owners really needs to act on these reviews and take them seriously. We took a 6 month break from this place after some really badly screwed up orders. Tonight we asked for the Egg Rice with chicken and the girl said ‘we don’t do egg rice. We explained we had had it there a lot and she rudely said ‘not anymore.’ We asked was there something similar and she said ‘no.’ So we asked for fried rice with no shrimp, extra egg and veges. After paying someone else came in and asked for japanese chicken and egg rice and she said sure thing!
