This was truly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. As soon as I sat down after ordering, I was immediately put off by how filthy the cutlery and sauce containers were. It was disgusting and extremely unhygienic.

Since my order had already gone through, I decided to wait, but the food that came out was shocking. The beef had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the broth for the pho was clearly off — I couldn’t eat it. It was completely inedible.

To double-check, I even tried a bit of the hoisin sauce on the table, and that too was spoiled.

I’ve been working in the food industry for 23 years, both as a chef and in restaurant management, and I have never experienced something this appalling. This place is beyond disappointing — it’s unacceptable.

This place seriously needs a health...

Review: Avoid at All Costs!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The customer service was absolutely atrocious—rude staff, long wait times, and a complete lack of professionalism. It felt like they were doing us a favor by even acknowledging our presence.

As for the food? Horrible. Bland, overcooked, and nowhere near what was advertised. It was clear that freshness and quality were not priorities here. To top it off, the portions were ridiculously small for the price.

Save yourself the disappointment and go somewhere else. This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences...

Updated Feb 2024. Something is wrong. We came back here today and there was no love in any of the dishes. The shopkeeper was alone here trying to run the show. The portions for large were fairly small and there was no depth to any of the dishes and they ran out of bean sprouts so also no texture to any of the dishes (btw Woolworths next door had heaps of bean sprouts). Maybe we will satisfy our cravings in Inala next time.

Last year: A well kept secret. Maybe if I may, better than a lot of Inala places. Lovingly made and good balance...

I can't believe I spent $62 for below average quality meals. Save your money and take the extra 15min trip to Inala Pros: - the crispy chicken was deliciously flavoured and cooked well - chicken spring rolls were delicious Cons: - the Vietnamese pancake was burnt - no herbs (coriander and mint) in any of the meals - the pancake and crispy chicken rice was too oily - the pickled carrots and radish weren't pickled enough - the server was talking to someone on her headphones while taking my order.

So, so good! Three of us shared an entree, soup and a pork salad and a crispy chicken rice dish and we were very full! The flavours were fantastic. One of the party didn't think he'd like Vietnamese but now he's taking his wife for their anniversary - he enjoyed the food that much! Doesn't seem as busy as it once was, but the food is still great, as is the service.
