I won’t even give them 1 star. I have been a loyal customer ordering every one week and it has been the same order and was really happy with it until one night I ordered around 9:45pm and the staff hung up on me twice so that they don’t have to make the order. I eventually called customer helpline to place my order, when I went to pick my order I was told by the staff that no order was placed and I was shocked about it because I could see my order on the bench as it was the last order to collect and the staff was lying* to me clear as day about no order being placed. Eventually when he saw that I was very sure about my order being placed he brought my pizza’s out and said that he was about to throw the order as I wasn’t there yet and it was close to there closing time and when I came home I saw that my pizza wasn’t even cooked properly and I wanted to call in and Complaint but it was too late as the restaurant was close then. I called in the next day to talk about the issue and they said the manager will give me a call and help me in solving this issue but no one ever did. Just To Clarify I never ate those pizza’s as I wanted to show them it was undercooked and pizza’s were in my fridge for next 1 whole day but I never got any call back about the complaint so I threw them out. We have always preferred Pizza Hut over Dominos and other take away pizza outlets. Pizza Hut Mt Gravatt has been our go to store and we have never been let down. This was the first time we ordered from Pizza Hut Carina and were extremely disappointed.
If I were to analyse, your store in Mt Gravatt is operated by mature individuals and probably owned by a franchise. It’s simple, they work hard and strive to provide excellent customer service and great pizzas as they operate it as a business that they care about. I strongly suspect the one is Carina is not owned by a franchise and probably by the head office. There were 2 teenagers working on a Tuesday night. There didn’t appear to be the send of responsibility that I have seen at your Mt Gravatt store. The pizzas were partially baked as some veggies were raw. There was over addition of certain ingredients while the others were sort of left out. The problem was not with the teenagers working there, they were probably trying to do their best. Read moreIt is abysmal to call this place Pizza Hut. At best, it should be called "hut". The pizzas are low grade, and the service is even worse. I made an order, with special prices on the wall and tapped my card. When I realised they had charged full price, I questioned why they had not honoured the advertised special and they said they legally do not have to. Actually, Australian Consumer Law requires the lowest advertised price to be charged or withdraw the product from sale until the erroneous "special prices" are fixed (see ACCC website for details). I feel a little sorry for the original guy at the counter, as his English was so poor that he spelt a basic English name incorrectly and I had to repeat the order 4 times. However, the obnoxious woman who claimed to be the manager and claimed to have a law degree is a disgrace to the owners of this shop. She should have her employment terminated. I doubt they will, so I have lodged a complaint with the Queensland Office of Fair Trading over the matter, including pictures of the invoice and the advertisements...
