Dusty had ventured out the front of the house. He's a dog, so I can't say what his motivations were. Anyway, a member of the public essentially dog-napped him, (he had his address on his collar), and took him half an hour away to the vet hospital under the alleged status of "lost dog". Since Josh and I had to journey to Manly on the puppo recovery mission, we decided to go to his absolute favourite pizza joint, Pizzaland, Manly. Josh had many positive things to say about Pizzaland, and I'm not about to dispute his preferences. We all had a delightful feed of pizza down the foreshore, where Dusty also enjoyed barking at a Maltese terrier. All's well that ends well I suppose.

Pizzaland is on the very corner of the strip so it’s easy to miss but don’t go past it. It’s a small but very friendly place to grab your pizza to go. Heads up, there are no tables to dine there. The pizzas are made the old traditional way with the old ovens that are slowly disappearing. The ingredients are fresh, the pizzas are tasty and prices are reasonable. We ordered the Aussie, BBQ Meat lovers and Spaghetti Bolognaise pasta.

I paid $25 for Meat lovers pizza and expected to see varieties of meat, but there were sliced sausages only. No wonder they placed cheese on top, "good idea "to cover sausages, but in this case price has to be cheaper and definitely it is not Meat lovers pizza. I don't recommend it.

I've lived in a neighbouring suburb for two years, I resorted to supermarket pizzas with my additional toppings because the delivery pizzas were so bad and not worth the coin. I didn't think pizzaland would deliver to me but they did! Within approx. 25 mins! The lady on phone was attentive to detail, the driver has so much pride for delivering amazing pizza. And the pizza, it's was so damn good. I know pizza. I am Italian and will one day own my own pizza restaurant. Pizzaland, the oasis of pizza in Brisbane!!...

Really average pizza, the amount of cheap and nasty ham put on it under all the toppings perhaps explains the price? Waaaaay too much of that ham it really ruins what could be a decent pizza but you end up with a sloppy mess toppings fall off and you scrape 2 kg of what almost looks like spam out of the base of pizza.. I guess you can call it an Aussie style pizza but really not great.. for $42 for 2 pizzas I had high hopes how did this place have such...
