The photos are from two years ago. Since then I haven’t been to this place and I didn’t write a review then, so I’m going to write one now based on my memory. Found about Remy’s on Instagram and thought their burgers looked sick and decided to give them a try. I’m really happy I did. I went there twice and both times were really enjoyable. As I only ordered takeaways both times I cannot comment on their customer service. But the guy who served me while placing my order was really friendly and nice. Their menu was quite straightforward and easy to follow and saved me a lot of time my first time there. I ordered a double cheeseburger both times and I really loved it. The burgers were well seasoned and everything came together really well. The bun was soft and buttery. The patties were cooked medium rare and were not too much on the salty side. I also appreciated that the burger wasn’t drenched in dressings or sauces as it would go soggy and gross and would have lost its taste. And after. 30-40 min ride home, the burger did go a bit cold but still very delicious, I could only imagine how nice it would have tasted if it had been fresh. Now I have found out that they also do brunch, which sounds really tempting. Will go back soon to try their brunch and more burgers.

We dined at 1:00 on a Monday between Christmas and New Year. They were busy, but there were tables outside. It was very pleasant under the shade, watching the world go by. The staff were super friendly and efficient. The menu was fairly broad, with burgers being the main staples - but there were other things to complement the fries and onion rings. My beautiful wife had the mini burger, which anywhere else would be their full size. She’s not a big burger fan, but she SMASHED it… 🤣 My amazing daughter had the regular burger and cheesy fries and rather the first class. I had the burger with egg and bacon and it was incredible! I worried about the size of it, but I cut it in half and it was easy to manage. It didn’t fall apart and wasn’t sloppy. The tastes were sublime, folding in on each other superbly. This will sound weird, there was a subtly sweet and delicious note - it was the bun! The chips were incredibly tasty, amongst the best ever. The onion rings - BEST EVER!!! The batter was crisp and not too thick, cracking open easily. The onion rings were firm, but not chewy. The pricing was super competitive- you can do a meal deal. There were plenty of beverage choose on offers This was a first rate experience.

My fav local thing to do on a Friday/ Sunday afternoon is to find a seat at Remy’s, preferably the bench side, grab some nibbles/ drinks and just space out with their gorgeous hillside sunset view! Just the most wonderful way to wind down the end of a hectic week☺️ Highly recommend if you are visiting Paddington for the first time!! Plenty of parking across at the Woolies underground parking.😁 Update 2: They have chicken popcorn now, Got a cup and a trusty bourbon and coke this afo…the scene was just too pretty, so I snapped more pic. More importantly, the on duty staff (Jayden and Charlotte) services were once again excellent. Will be back soon enough for the very friendly welcome!!😁 Update 3: Back for another meal before heading out to the movie theatre. Got the special burger. The beef patty was so juicy🤤. Had a bit more time after devouring the burger, so I ordered a flat white. Their on duty staff poured me a fabulous coffee on the spot (thank you Chloe, the consistency was lovely!). As always, their staff are always friendly and well trained. That totally made my Saturday afo again, while watching the sunset of course!😊

Difficult to review this place because on the one hand I absolutely LOVE their cheeseburgers, but I really wish their chips were better. On the three occasions I’ve been (2 in person and 1 delivery) the burgers were amazing but the chips were really underwhelming. Not very crispy, overly salty and just not particularly tasty. Because of this, I have resolved only to visit or order from this venue when I only crave a burger but not chips, and this a fairly rare occurrence. I even tried the chilli chips last time for extra flavour and wasn’t a fan of those either. How do you mess up chips? For reference, I love the chips from fritzenburger, brewski, and most other burger joints. I’ll say again, this place has fabulous burgers, but the chips are always disappointing to me. If they fix their chips I’ll change my review to 5 stars. But for now it’s 3 because the chips are about two fifths of a meal of a burger and chips and... I just can’t get on board with the chips here.

Edit: THEY’VE FIXED THE CHIPS!!

Edit 2: What a rollercoaster! After bumping my review up to 5 stars, I’ve reduced it all the way down to 1 star because service has plummeted. They’ve removed phone ordering, which means it’s impossible to ask a human a question about the menu without physically going to the store, and it’s impossible for older technophobes (like my 73 year old mum) to order takeaway in advance. I’ve been a customer of Remy’s since they first opened, but now I’m out. If/when they bring back personalised service, I’ll come back.

Edit 3 (reply to owner): I called about 10 times in a row to ask a question about an item on the menu. No one answered. Google said you were open and web ordering was available so I’m pretty sure you weren’t closed. Considered rocking up in person but ordered...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Remy's, and I must say it was a delightful experience overall. Remy's has earned a solid four stars from me for several reasons.

The Ambiance (4/5): The restaurant's ambiance strikes the perfect balance between casual and comfortable. It's a great spot for a laid-back meal with friends or family. The warm lighting and rustic decor create a welcoming atmosphere.

Service (4/5): The service was friendly and efficient. The staff took our orders promptly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Their attentiveness contributed positively to the dining experience.

The Burger (4/5): The star of the show, the burger, did not disappoint. I opted for Remy's special burger, and it was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The bun was fresh and soft, and the toppings were well-balanced. It was evident that attention to detail went into crafting this burger.

Sides (4/5): The fries were a standout, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They were seasoned just right, adding a delicious crunch to the meal. The coleslaw was a pleasant surprise, with a tangy and refreshing taste.

Value for Money (4/5): Remy's offers a reasonably priced menu for the quality of food and service provided. While it's not the cheapest burger joint in town, the value you get for your money is more than...
