I have been a loyal customer of your restaurant since the very beginning, but I must express my deep disappointment with the quality of food I have experienced during my recent visits and takeaways. Over the past eight times, I have consistently encountered various issues that have left me unsatisfied.
Firstly, I couldn't help but notice a significant decline in the flavors of the dishes. It almost feels as though there have been changes in the kitchen staff or recipe preparations, as every dish I've ordered has had a strikingly similar taste. The lack of diversity in flavors has been quite disheartening.
Furthermore, I have repeatedly requested dishes to be prepared as extra hot or Thai hot, but to my dismay, there has been absolutely no spice or heat in any of them. This inconsistency in meeting my spice preferences suggests that the chefs are not paying attention to the notes provided. It is disconcerting when my specific requests are consistently overlooked.
Another concern I have encountered is the dryness of the noodle dishes. In the past few visits, the noodles have been extremely dry, making the overall experience less enjoyable. To mitigate this issue, I have specifically asked for extra sauce for the noodle dishes, yet my requests seem to go unnoticed, similar to the issue with the spice levels. It is frustrating when my attempts to communicate my preferences are consistently ignored.
Previously, your establishment was exceptional, but unfortunately, since the recent changes to a new fit out, the overall experience has deteriorated significantly. I initially thought it might have been an off night or an isolated incident, but after enduring eight disappointing experiences recently, I have come to the conclusion that the decline in quality is a consistent problem.
I value the positive experiences I had in the past and genuinely hope that you take my feedback seriously. As a long-standing customer, I had high expectations for your restaurant, and it saddens me to see the current state of affairs. I sincerely hope that you address these issues promptly and restore the exceptional quality that once made dining at your establishment a...
Read moreEdit: i had to change my review from a few years ago from five stars to two stars. The restaurant moved a few doors and I really donât like the new location and fitout. I was a regular at the old place but this is just not nice anymore. It felt busy, crowded, not comfy at all, tables were small, it was loud and lacked atmosphere. You have to order via qr code which is fine but then you have to pay and enter all your credit card detailsâŚphew. The wait for food was long, i received the wrong meal, then the correct meal was served but not as I ordered it (i ordered it hot but it wasnât), we didnât receive plates and had to ask for them while our food was waiting in front of us. The food tasted alright but we couldnât enjoy it. Inside seating is like sitting in a narrow channel opposite the kitchen, hard to unwind. Sorry, but this was all a bit much and you lost some loyal clients today.
Previous review: Excellent and always busy Thai restaurant with great food and very fair prices! Its cosy on the street side but there is a larger backyard (less romantic) for seating. Back to the prices: you get really good value! And the quality of meat and seafood is great, they use fresh herbs and spices. Service is always friendly. Book a table on busy nights to avoid disappointment. Also there are several car parks but we often have to walk a few...
Read moreWorst experience ever. Arrived for dinner at 8pm. Was told the kitchen would be closing in half an hour. We asked if we could still order and were told yes. My friends recieved their order after 15 minutes. I was still waiting for mine. Staff were not around to hear my complaints.
After 20 more minutes inquiries were made and I was told my massaman curry would be with me in 5 minutes. It arrived 10 minutes later.
The dish placed in front of me was not massaman curry. It was a soul-less super-sweet soup with chunks of stringy boiled meat that had been very obviously heated up in the microwave. It did not remotely taste like a massaman. It was inedible. Staff were not around to listen to complaints.
When the ordeal was drawing to a close and my friends were paying for their meal I imagined it would be the best time for a staff member to listen to some feedback. Having had our food dumped on our table like we were nothing more than pigs at the slop, I understandably felt wronged. We finally had someone cornered!
That someone was not interested in what I had to say. I wasn't even sure she was listening to me until I asked for a discount when my pleas for an apology went unanswered. I hadn't even finished my sentence when she ran to the kitchen to confer with someone else. A discount? 5%.
These people are obviously in the...
