Hands down the best vegetarian Vietnamese food in Brisbane! Before finding this place, I had no idea there were even vegetarian pho restaurants in town. This small store in Inala Civic has won my heart (and stomach!) by creating dishes with amazing plant-based substitutes in place of using meat, whilst still keeping that authentic flavour of all the traditional meals you've come to know and love. In particular, their Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Hue "Beef" Noodle Soup) was like coming home to my mother's cooking, just without any animal's lives taken 😉 Their very affordable menu encompasses nearly all popular dishes, including (but not limited to) pho, banh xeo, rice combinations, and even desserts. As is usual of most Asian cuisine, the meal servings are large and filling. The staff are super friendly and always willing to help out, even in their broken English. Kudos to everyone there! A true vegetarian beacon among the plethora of other regular Vietnamese restaurants...
Read moreHave visited every time we’re in Brisbane, only sad thing is it’s so far from CBD. The owner and her mum are super lovely. Food is home style, delicious and large portions. Need to double check if menu items contain egg or dairy - if you have an allergy, ask to speak to the owner. The hired staff are not knowledgeable regarding vegetarian vs vegan, most of the drinks are pre-made and contain cow milk/condensed milk unless soy milk is specified.
Have had most menu items but only remember a few: 🍜 Bún Huế 10/10 🍚 Cơm Phần 9/10, braised “fish” is different to traditional flavour and came with broken rice instead of jasmine rice 🍜 Bún Cá 8/10, soup was just a sour soup, good if you like sweet and sour 🍚...
Read moreI can't share much about the food, but I'm disappointed with the way the restaurant handled my UberEats order. I placed an order yesterday, but the restaurant rang me more than 15 minutes later to let me know they couldn't complete my order. I asked them to cancel the order on their end, which they replied they couldn't. I then proceeded to cancel it through UberEats and was still charged for it because it has been over 5 minutes since I placed my order. Had the restaurant not accepted the order or cancelled it more promptly, I wouldn't have been charged. In the future, if food isn't available, try to communicate it more efficiently to avoid unnecessary charges to...
