Month of visit: September 2024 Had a pleasant experience eating here! All the food and drinks that we ordered were perfect! I had their ice coffee, and to be honest, this is the best ice coffee so far that I have tried here in Brisbane. The coffee is not just watery-ish like too much ice like ice coffee that I used to buy in Ozzie café here. I like that the coffee is still rich, not too sweet, not too bit. Perfect balance for me. Their fried rice was also so good! I can taste the garlic, and it has that smokey feeling from the wok, something that Asian people mostly like. We also had their crispy chicken pho, which was delicious! The price is also good! The only downside here is just, the staff that served us when we ordered the food was “very expressive” so maybe for some people it seems like she is not behaving nice or friendly to customer. But not a big issue actually, I can understand because of the language barrier and also maybe it’s part of their culture. Still a recommended restaurant if you are around Inala plaza! Will definitely come back again here.

This is arguably the nicest southern style phở I've ever had the pleasure of consuming. Inala is spoilt for choice in Vietnamese food, and deciding on an outlet is often difficult when experiencing a new area. This restaurant is quirky and cute in its decor - think 1970s chic. An extremely friendly older lady serving us in broken English was a strong indicator of what was to come in terms of food. Another reviewer has mentioned alchemy at work - the phở broth was distinctly southern in nature - I have a personal preference for northern style but this was transcendent and just may convert me. Aromatic and sweet but extremely well balanced in the flavour profile. A serving size as large as my head with three proteins for $17. As a bonus, my wife is quite timid trying new cuisines until she warms up to them but absolutely loved her pork dish (sorry, still working on her liking pickled carrot). Two lunches plus three drinks for $50 is an absolute bargain.

Easily one of the best and most popular Viet restaurants in the Plaza. Been going here for years now. The female owner runs this place like a tight ship. She recognises the regulars and doesn't mess around! Service is quick and accurate. Food is always consistently good. Atmosphere is bustling so don't expect a quiet ambience! But that's part of the joy. They get so busy at times that seating can be an issue if you go at peak times....and that's saying alot because they have a good amount of seating! Lots of good eateries in Inala so when one in particular is always busy you know you're onto a good thing! Mainly go for their stir fries and soup noodles not so much for thr Pho as there are dedicated Pho restaurants in Inala. It's still affordable prices for most dishes. The crispy chicken egg noodle soup (dry) is amazing and the flat noodle stir fries Highly recommend a visit.

Visited on June 3rd in the morning with my 7-month-old baby and had an incredibly disappointing experience.

From the moment we arrived, the service was cold and unwelcoming. As we were preparing to leave, one staff member approached our table and angrily slammed the lid of the utensil container. You could clearly see the irritation on her face and hear it in the way she sighed while tidying up—despite the fact that I had already stacked the plates neatly for her.

Yes, babies can be messy eaters, but I made sure to clean up after mine. I picked up food from the floor and even wiped it down myself. Still, we were met with visible annoyance.

I politely asked the staff member if she was okay, as I I didn’t appreciate the way we were being treated, to which she just replied, “All good, all is good.”

On top of that, the restaurant itself was filthy. I had to wipe down the high chair before using it, and when I cleaned the floor to pick up some vegetables, the wipe came up black with dust.

If you're going to treat paying customers with such disrespect, at the very least make sure your restaurant is clean and your staff are trained to be courteous.

We will never go back, and we’ll be passing this experience along to our family and friends so they know what kind of...
