Tulsi Restaurant – Authentic Flavours, Simple Comfort

Tulsi Restaurant, also known as Tulsi Spice & Indian Street Food in Forest Lake, offers a true taste of India through its fully vegetarian menu. The dishes combine authentic street food flavours with homestyle comfort. Popular items like Pav Bhaji, Chole Bhature, Masala Dosa, and Samosa Chaat are full of spice, freshness, and aroma. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable, making it a great spot for families and groups.

The food is well-prepared and flavorful, though occasionally the spice level or seasoning may vary. Highlights include the crisp Masala Dosa, creamy Paneer Butter Masala, and warm Gulab Jamun for dessert.

The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with clean interiors and a lively yet relaxed vibe. Soft music, aromatic spices, and friendly service create a pleasant dining experience. It’s not fancy, but it feels authentic and inviting.

Staff are polite and attentive, happy to explain dishes and make guests feel comfortable. Whether dining in or taking away, Tulsi delivers reliable, satisfying Indian food that tastes homemade.

For anyone craving rich, flavorful vegetarian cuisine in a warm and friendly setting, Tulsi Restaurant is well...

I was very disappointed when I was told that I would be going for dinner to a Veg restaurant. I was sulky. But I was honestly super surprised by the taste of this place. I ordered the Mushroom Muttar with naan bread and it was great. My wife ordered hakka Chinese and whilst I was sad it didn't have meat, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the Schezuan noodles and the fried rice, it was fantastic for a veg dish. This has to be my best place so far. Things that we would like to see change:

Loud background music blasting through the restaurant. You can have mellow music allowing customers to relax and not have to raise their voices to be heard across the table.

The noodles served whilst tasty, were cold, I hope that its not being prepared in advance, reheated in a microwave and being served. If so, maybe they need a...

Food = outstanding Waiting time = acceptable Service = brilliant & well prepared Staff attitude = down to earth owner showed great respect and interest on what we think about their food, BIG THANK YOU 🙏🙏🙏🙏

We went this place in group of 34 people and they knew that we are coming in big group they give us entire floor.

Food quality 10/10, was outstanding and authentic as we eat kathyavadi Gujarati food many places but they nailed it.

Service 10/10, they allocated a waiter to get us priority along with all the Uber or takeaway foods they had during the time.

I can’t say more, but only ask to must visit this place if you are local or coming to Brisbane for short time, must must must visit this...

The service by the only one staff was outstanding-welcoming, friendly and efficient. Unfortunately; the food let us down. (1) Chloe bhature-the chickpea curry was cold, and the bread was also cold and undercooked (it was normally served hot and puffed up) (2) the noodle was warm, it tasted like cooked noodle mixed with sauce rather than a stir fry (3) Manjurian fried rice was also warm; tasted like pre-made and microwaved. The manjurian balls were horribly dried and tasted like frozen ones from a package (not homemade like other places we had) We had been here long ago when it’s newly opened and the food was a lot nicer. For this visit, we would have rated ⭐️⭐️if the service hadn’t been that great.

Brisbanes best kept secret for Indian regional Thali and street food. Recommend their Thali , Gujrati regional Thali and Punjabi both done in an authentic style and taste. Service is always very friendly and accommodating to your needs and taste buds. Special credit to chef and front of house staff. If you are Vegan just let them know in advance, chances are they already have some tasty food for you. Yash is always caring like you are his family. Reminds me of home at times where the the culture of 'guest is like God'. Make sure keep an open mind to some of regional food options. Try it, you will love the clean food. This is how true Indian regional people eat at their homes. Go well.
