Forest Lake Shopping Centre — Local services in Brisbane City

It's close to where i live and has variery of grocery stores and plenty of places to eat out too. Although it could do with a Big W or K Mart store instead of target. I find that target is overly priced compared to the stores mentioned above and not as many choices to choose from and also sales are rare or nonexistent. Target in forestlake is going to close down very soon due to this factor. I find they are 10% or more expensive than their competitors and will drive themselves bust. I don't buy anything there but just window shop to check out the prices as there isn't anything there that other stores don't have and is also cheaper than target. I use to like target 20 years ago. It's ashame that they don't realize that everyone knows they are overly priced with many customers attracted to K Mart and Big W for the low prices and large range of goods. Aldi, Coles and Woolworths are the main eeasons we shop there and also the fruit & veges store has occasionally nice produces but not...

The store caters towards 55+ year olds and so the stores within reflect that. Lighting is dark for a store it's size. Avoid between 2:15pm and 4:30pm weekdays to avoid the hoard of FLSHS students who run rampant through the store after school.

On an unfortunate note, Forest Lake Shopping Centre management have a reputation among stores of being hostile towards their non-mega chain tenants. Aside from their high rental costs, any disagreements have been known to result in a refusal to renew a lease. Think of all the great restaurants and stores that have dissapeared from this place, how filled and popular they were, and how they suddenly disappeared. Do you honestly think it's by their choice?
