Very poor service. Spent an hour there but never got to taste more than the woodsmoke in the air.
The woman at the counter gave no indication that we'd be waiting so long. When we asked her to check on our order she never reported back...just made the table in front of us without giving us a response.
Next we asked the chef as it had been 45mins. He told us he would check on it. But i wanted to know if ours had been put in the oven or made yet and he wouldnt tell us. He couldnt tell us if he had our order but he said 5mins. I asked again if it was in the oven otherwise it couldnt be ready in 5mins and he asked what i ordered again and shrugged his shoulders.
We asked for our money back and i met the third employee who just handed me the money without saying anything and while i was still wondering if our pizza was being cooked. Okay cut our losses and leave.
So he hands me $28 and says so i already gave you your $12 change earlier? I said $22. Yes you gave me $22 change from $50. Next thing he wanted me to repeat and explain because he thought he gave me too much money. I eventually realised he didn't know that 28 and 22 made 50 and seemed to be accusing me of taking too much until another customer who had been waiting 40mins and was also starting to get agitated backed me up and said you gave him the right change it adds up to 50.
Overall it was probably best i got back my $28 for one gf pizza. I'm not even sure they had gf bases and was starting to worry they'd just give me anything.
By the time we left there was only one poor couple sitting at a table so they really didn't seem busy. I feel for the service industry and they might have been run off their feet earlier but the lack of courtesy and communication was just too much. It's one of those experiences where you want to take out an ad in the paper to warn everybody.
As for the food itself: best homemade cheese toasties I've had in...
Read moreGreediness over one small pizza AND passive aggressive chefâŠ.âšPlease be aware these people are greedy, rude, and will make you feel unsafe. After a simple misunderstanding about ingredients leaving me with a pizza with literally no cheese on it, they never CONFIRMED with me the toppings and told me it would be ready in 5-10 min. I received the pizza in a takeaway box, checked it and there was NO CHEESE.
Most pizza places would apologise and happily remake the order or refund as the place is loud and hard to hear. However the greedy and passive-aggressive lead chef denied any wrongdoing and refused to remake the small pizza. Instead he offered to put cheese on top of the pizza âsoupâ he made for me -yes it looked like soggy vegetable soup as it was overloaded with tomatoes and pineapple and undercooked. I told him putting cheese on top would not work as the pizza was soggy and it would taste disgusting no matter how much cheese you place top.
Even though I remained polite and showed him the sludge in the box, he remained in denial and looked like he wanted to force me to eat it. Was it pure greed over one small pizza? Or some kind of hatred? The place was very quite on a Sunday night and seemed like he had a lot of hatred for one little woman.
I remained polite throughout, and asked why they didn't confirm ingredients I was in my car and they could have walked up and asked me as I was the only car there. His attitude was worse and worse and behaviour actually started making me feel in danger. I do not like any conflict so I left the $32 pizza on their counter and went home. If the $1-$2 pizza loss for them was too hard to handle, then let them have the pizza.
I feel sorry for the other woman working there, she remained silent throughout the ordeal, then disappearing. I hope she is not being abused like I was, however I am only a...

In our search for a really good Pizza place nearby we decided to give Vizzeto a try - after all we really liked the pizzas from the team that previously operated out of that same shop. We ordered from the traditional as well as the brazilian style pizzas. We ordered takeaway, so I can not make comments on the service.
The traditional pizzas was great, nice smokey wood flavour, the right amount of well balanced and tasty topping on a nice - albeit not exceptional - crust. The garlic pizza however was very nice, probably the only one worth going back for.
The dissapointment were the brazilian offerings. When we lifted the lid on the box, besides the un-pizzalike lack of cheese on top, the odd mismatch of flavours in the topping, and the far-from-appealing presentation made the experience rather dissapointing. And while the taste was not as bad as the appearance would suggest, it was not good enought to go for a second piece, and far from our expectation of a satisfying pizza. We certainly expected far better for the price.
There was nothing in the menu description that suggested that this was going to be so different. While it may well be authentic, it is not what we would want when we feel like having pizza. If we do order from there again we will be avoiding the experimental brazilian style pizzas, and stick with the...
