Zarraffa's Coffee Cannon Hill — Restaurant in Brisbane City

A popular spot for drive through coffee, I grabbed a quick bite to eat with a latte and chose to dine in, the staff were very busy with the drive through orders, which is understandable, but a quick acknowledgement of me would have been the right thing to do. When I was finally served, there was no connection with me & limited eye contact, it would have been nice if the server acknowledged my waiting time. She didn’t ask if my food was dine in or takeaway, and assumed it was take out. I had to also correct her order twice. I did feel like a number and not a highly valued customer. The coffee was very good, the zed bread was a bit burnt on the edges, but otherwise tasted ok. Everyone has an off day, maybe I struck it today. Not sure I will return in a hurry, however they seem to have very loyal customers e.g tradies & the local Police & they do have higher rated Google reviews than mine. There are plenty of car parking spots as it’s located in the left hand corner of Cannon Hill Plaza’s carpark. This Drive through must be the worst-run Zarraffas Drive through in SEQ The first window is always closed. By the time you get to the second window, there's no time for the customer to: confirm order, and we are so busy trying to organise payment, give them your card number, get coffee and drive off, by the time you get your coffee it takes the convenience out of a drive-thru experience. I waited in the line for almost 25 minutes yesterday (this was 10:15 on a Sunday so I wouldn't expect that to be their peak time). The owner needs to go and look at how a good Zarraffas drive through is operated and take some tips....and open the first Window....especially at peak times. i just wanted to say that this is by far the best coffee i have ever had. I come here so much that i have met all the staff that work there and a few of them know my order off by heart. every time they see me they say "Masai iced mocha" or "Grande Cocoa De Menthe" or even "Coffee Fusion Double Shot" they are my go to drinks there because they are the best drinks in my opinion. When the service is slow they make sure to give me a free coffee card. Even though i work across the Road at red rooster they still give me a free upsize whenever i am in uniform. even when i am in school uniform they recognise me and ask if the order is the same. outstanding service, and immensely polite staff. love the place and the staff.
