Japan Pan — Restaurant in Bungalow

My mother, sister and I all stopped here before school. There was already a few people waiting before opening, so I already thought it would probably be good, but I was honestly blown away. The filling in the strawberry donut was a perfect balance of sweetness and flavour without being too sweet, the curry pan was warm and fresh with a comforting flavour and crispy outside, and from what my sister said the strawberry matcha condensed milk roll was quite tasty as well. I also had a cold brew latte, which was surprisingly well priced and certainly one of the better cold brews I've had recently. I also got a melonpan, but I forgot to take a photo. I love this place, have for a while. If I was rich, I would order here every day for breakfast and buy extras for strangers to try how awesome they are! The servers are lovely, the place is small, but who cares. I'm willing to break bank just to have amazing, sweet and savory baked goods! I haven't had a single 'bad' item at this establishment. 11/10 would recommend every time! The only complaint I could possibly have about Japan Pan is that they aren't open for long enough in the afternoon, but that's how baking works, can't expect them to have full stoke and fresh goods by...

A newly open bakery shop by Japanese, it is good to have a try on the different breads. They have different styles of bread that I never seen in cairns. I went there around 11:00. Most of the bread are all gone as they just open so they did not prepare much. However the hojicha lattle is outstanding! But for this 4 breads and two drinks end up paying $40 was a little pricey. And we hoping there is some seatings for the customers out the front would be lovely as we need to eat in at our car… and hopefully one day the bread can be hot served which means just freshly baked...
