We were at Cazalys today for lunch and this is the nuggets that were served to my 4 year old granddaughter. Now my granddaughter loves nuggets and even she refused to eat them. They were cold and rock hard. We could understand if they were really busy but there was hardly anyone there. My daughter had the carbonara with chicken and her chicken was overcooked and there was no flavour. It tasted like they’d just poured heated cream over everything and that was it. I had the noodle stir fry which I must admit was very good though my chicken was tough as well. They did replace the nuggets when my daughter showed them to a worker and the next lot that came out were perfectly cooked. And I don’t even want to mention the chocolate milkshake as it may as well been a milk flavoured milkshake with a slight hint of chocolate. It was a waste of $76 and we will definitely NOT be back!

What great place,we started going there on a Sunday night for the $23.00 roasts with dessert, if you are a member( which is $5 membership senior for 3 years) then you get discount on all meals and drinks. There are disabled toilets which were clean, plenty of seating. There are meat Raffles, which we one 2 in 1 night and was lucky on the pokies too.I recommend to get there early as it gets very busy. They give away a car or $20,000 every fortnight, you get a ticket every time you buy a drink and you have to be there when it is drawn.

Great venue but the manager makes it awful when she inserts herself into situations. Twice now I have had to put up with her sour rude manner. First time was when my mother was really near her time and all she wanted was to go out and have a fresh sandwich. Mum was in a nearby nursing home and just wanted her sandwich. We were 5 mins past lunch. This manager made such a fuss about us ordering ‘outside the lunch time’ that it was hard to enjoy one of the last meals with my mum. The other time is tonight. It’s my friends birthday and she has kids we need to watch and be near the children’s area. The reserved table was way away from being able to see the kids play area. It is 5pm and hardly anyone here. I asked to swap tables so we were near the play area. The table I asked for was not reserved. This manager told me I could have the table ‘but it would take away from other patrons’. I’m not sure what this means as we only wanted to swap a reserved table to an unreserved table. What is going on with this woman?? People facing staff should at the very least be courteous. I was not rude, explained why and asked nicely. Making me wonder why we keep giving this place a go as it only takes a bad experience to stop people coming here. After what happened with mum it took me awhile to come back and I thought things had improved - but with this person in charge of customer experience still - I’m finding it hard to want to ever come back. And to think - I’m paying to be treated like this!!!! Not good Cazalays. It really is a shame as you do have many lovely people that are happy to be happy...

Trying to give this place a good review. The meals were awesome, just the customer service was a bit of hit but lots of misses (bad gets noticed more than good). Whilst we had 1 or 2 people smiling and serving customers, there was a handful, who had screwed up and gloomy faces.

ENTRANCE You start from the entrance by waiting to be served and you're in front but they call the other people behind us. By the time we got to the front, lady behind the counter goes "can you check in ". Consider the correct way to start this conversation by, "asking if we have already checked in instead of assuming we have not checked in yet" but in a nice tone (staff needs to have lots of practice tone, mannerism etc.). - 0/5 star

MEALS Got to our table and ordered our meals. Staff serving meals were absolute STARS, smiles and checking we got our meals as ordered. There was just one staff who looked tired, grumpy when she was passing our plates to us. 3/5 stars

BAR - DRINKS Staff at the bar serving drinks had one lady and a gentleman who was serving us with smiles. The good feel about customer service. There was a lady in a red Christmas shirt that just looked like she was not there. It felt like hard work when we were placing our order for drinks. 3/5 stars

DESSERT Whilst one staff was an absolute gem, another looked tired and grumpy. 3/5

It was Christmas, staff were in Christmas dress code but definitely not everyone was in the spirit...

Hands down the worst meal I've ever had in a reaturant. We've been coming to cazalies for several years now and have noticed over the last 3 years that the food has been hit and missed, but today finished us off.

I ordered the 250g sirloin (cooked medium) with mash potatoes, steamed vegies and gravey. The steak was flavourless and dry cooked well done; It tasted like it was cooked either earlier in the day or yesterday and reheated: it was warm when it arrived. The steamed vegies ( broccoli and carrots) were cold in the middle, peas uncooked, the mashed potato was watery and had no flavour, nothing seemed to have been seasoned. The gravey is obviously powdered gravey mix that they pour hot water into as it was chalky, again no real flavour.

My husband ordered the ribs which were cooked until dry and the BBQ marinade was way too sweet.

Yes I advised the staff member circulating how dissatisfied I was with my meal, all she said was " oh, sorry about that" and walked off, no remedy offered. I did fill out the feedback slip on the table and was we left I observed the same staff member look it over, scrunch it up and put it in her pocket. Thus prompting me to leave a review here.

It seems like the kitchen are taking shortcuts and it shows with what's being served. Not only is the quality of the food affected, what I was served today carries a risk of food poisoning as the food obviously wasn't heated to a safe...
