Far too expensive compared to other Thai restaurants...food disappointing not like authentic Thai...Fish cakes were tough & not hot enough. Usually my favourite

Massaman beef....meat very tender, but little of it..(5 small pieces + 2 tiny pieces of potato...lots of sauce) ....

no atmosphere, noisy, disorganised. One person cooking ..one person, trying to take phone orders, serve people picking up takeaway, handle payments & look after us..the only 2 people dining in. I was impressed by the size of the meal and very flavoursome. An aspect I really enjoyed about dining in was the out door setting, enjoying a meal in the garden was fantastic for atmosphere, and knowing that the veggies are grown in house was an aspect that really impressed me. Far too many places are heavily reliant on pre packed ingredients, where as Fat Baby Thai appears to be making a conscious effort to source locally and do what they can in-house. Chicken and cashew nut stir-fry was a glob of paste instead of the light delicious dish it should have been. I have never seen Thai food like this 🙈! sweet and sour prawns were OK, green curry was just passable - tasted a bit like a green curry but was way short of enjoyable.
