Food took one hour to come out! Even the starter took atleast 40 minutes and there were only 4 tables. Samosa chaat was tasteless (no salt, barely any spice)! And they used regular yoghurt instead of sweet yoghurt for chaat which made it worse. Paneer paratha was the same, no salt or spice. Malai kofta was alright..still had to add our own salt. Not worth the one hour wait where they're slowly serving one table at a time! Went to wash hands where the door said 'toilet' and it led to the kitchen instead where's there a sink to wash our hands. Waste of money and time. . Your responses to my review has crossed the line into harassment. Instead of addressing my legitimate concerns, you’ve resorted to making baseless accusations, attacking my credibility, and threatening legal action. I am a certified Google reviewer with numerous legitimate reviews, and my feedback is based on my experience, which I am fully entitled to post. I will not tolerate being intimidated or discredited by you or your tactics.
When my friend Mano posted his review, you dismissed it by saying “Thanks for creating a profile to support your wife.” You also attacked our experiences by questioning the timing of our reviews and falsely claiming a naan was burnt. If we didn’t like the food you said, that’s “totally fair,” but still instead of addressing the issues, you chose to attack and discredit us.
Now, you’ve edited your response to falsely claim we’re the same person. This is a blatant lie and a manipulative attempt to confuse and undermine us. We are not the same person, and your continued harassment will not stand.
As for the photo, we entered the kitchen after asking your staff where to wash our hands. They directed us to the kitchen sink, and once I realized it was an issue, I promptly removed the photo. There was no intent to violate anyone's privacy.
It sounds like you just attack and harassing customers who post bad reviews and attempt to get them removed and discredit their experiences. This is why your reviews are overwhelmingly positive and lack any negative feedback. It’s clear you’re more focused on silencing criticism than improving your business.
The suspicious increase in positive reviews from new accounts right after mine raises serious concerns about the authenticity of your business practices. Same like you, I think you are manipulate your ratings.
Your threats of legal action and attempts to silence us are not only illegal, they are harassment. If this continues, I will escalate this to the relevant authorities.
I expect a professional and respectful resolution...
Read moreThe food at this restaurant was absolutely top-notch, with excellent quality that left no room for complaints. The service was equally impressive—polite, attentive, and prompt in taking our orders. However, the kitchen seemed to be running behind schedule, which slightly impacted the overall experience.
The pricing aligns perfectly with the taste and portion sizes, making it a fair value for the quality offered. That said, the ambiance could use some improvement. On a hot and humid day, the lack of air conditioning made it less comfortable, especially with the place being packed. Although the staff eventually turned it on after a request, it would have been much better if the restaurant had ensured a cool and pleasant environment from the start.
When you’re charging market-competitive prices, attention to these details is crucial to delivering a seamless dining experience. A little more thoughtfulness in creating a comfortable atmosphere would elevate the experience to match the excellent food and service...
Read moreWe had a delightful experience at Delhi Xpress Indian Cuisine in Cairns North. The Tandoori Chicken was absolutely wonderful, packed with flavor and grilled to perfection. One of the standout items for us!
The Panipuri could have been better, but the Mango and Mangoco Lassi more than made up for it, refreshing and rich with an authentic taste that instantly transported us to India.
I tried Chicken Saagwala for the first time, paired with Garlic Naan, and I was genuinely impressed. The curry was flavorful and comforting, and it’s something I’d love to have again.
The Chicken Biryani was another highlight, perfectly spiced, aromatic, and delicious. The blend of spices gave it just the right kick.
While the atmosphere of the restaurant is fairly simple and not the most eye-catching, the food truly shines. I’d definitely recommend taking the time to sit down, relax, and enjoy a proper meal here. I’m already looking forward to visiting again next time...
