Future bakery — Restaurant in Colac

We stopped here today, the staff charged us incorrectly for our two coffees and a baked item. To begin with, no items were priced clearly on the board and there were no price labels on the items on display. What a scam. We paid in cash and the staff did not return the change (overcharged us by $3). It is not a big amount but it is not about the amount, it is about getting cheated. The staff did not give us a receipt. Bad experience. Would not stop here again due to such "service". Coffees were good, but the baked goods were not. Lovely little Turkish spot with “pizza wraps” (think gyro style ingredients in a soft pizza dough wrap). Really good. Dough was fluffy and not soggy and the ingredients were top notch. My partner and I tried the veggie, lamb, and chicken options. Lamb was probably the favorite and we were split on the runner up (she preferred chicken and I vegetarian). The Future Bakery is the most amazing cafe. My wife and I make every excuse to drive the 1.5hrs from our home to enjoy the incredible food, warm and friendly service and great coffee. The selection of savoury pastitsys satisfies any tastes with their subtle spices and makes a very filling breakfast or lunch and the beautiful sweets taste as good as they look. Don't forget to take away some of their delicious baklava to keep the memory of this amazing business fresh for days...
