Wonder Burger — Restaurant in Colac

Feb 2019: Came to Colac for the Afternoon from Apollo Bay... found Wonderburger for lunch. I had a wonderburger and my wife had a tofu vege burger... we also had sweet potato fries. All was first class and delicious with quality fresh ingedients. Infinitely better than the burger chains or fish & chip shops. I believe in recognising a job well done. They said they'd only been open 2-3 months. I wish them well. * Was back in Colac after 6 years, March 2025: Burgers are still awesome... we had cheeseburgers and regular chips. The best cheeseburger I've ever had... loved the patty, the cheese and the pickles... very delicious and enjoyed every bit. Chips were crisp and fresh too. Dropped in the following day before going home and grabbed...

I intended to eat here on my way to Warrnambool but couldn't find it. Managed to accidentally spot it on the return trip, so went in. If you like your patties with lots of pepper, this is your place. The 'Wonder Sauce' was spicy too, so if you want a tamer type of burger, you might want to ask for normal mayo or sauce. The ladies who run it are quite 'vocal' but didn't take long to make up our lunch. Drawbacks: it was hard to find (I have no GPS) and the ladies didn't wear...

By far the best hamburger I've had ever. So big and heavy, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. I purchased a Wonder Burger, and my girlfriend had a Chicken Burger with black bun. Also delicious. Suprisingly cheap too for the amount of burger you get. Staff were very friendly and helpful too

Highly recommend stopping by if you are travelling through Colac, I wish they had more than the one store, but it would be worth the drive to go get one...
