Whilst we did not eat here, it did look great. We did come here to look at her gallery of local artists. Vicki is doing a great job of promoting Coober Pedy Indigenous art, and should be applauded. We bought a Pearl Austin painting which was really unique and different from the type of artwork you find in most of the other shops in town.
Vicki made the extra effort to provide some information from Pearl as to the meaning of the painting, even including a photo of Pearl holding her artwork. This makes it so much more personal to me, and will be a story I tell visitors to my home when they see this proudly hanging....
   Read moreI really wanna support local businesses so came to this little cafe. They have a beautiful front but unfortunately it’s the worst breakfast I’ve ever had in the last 5 years. Dairy free for me but this avocado toastie doesn’t even come with real avocado! It’s the cheap avocado paste from supermarket! And scramble egg is dry and fishy. Dairy free shouldn’t make so much difference to a meal. I’m not expecting a fancy breakfast in the outback but this meal is not acceptable for almost $20 pp. Not sure if they changed a chef or what.    Read moreThis place was recommended to me by a local as it supposedly has the best coffee in town. First, I ordered a hot skinny cappuccino in a cup. However, I found it to be on the weak side. After having had the egg, bacon, and cheese muffin (very nice), I ordered another hot cappuccino, this time in a mug. It was much better, and with two shots of coffee, well worth the extra $0.50.
