Don't ever make a complaint. I'm a truckie. I drive B-Doubles. I come through Corowa twice a week. I like to get a coffee and something to eat. Recently, I ordered a Fillet of Fish meal with my coffee. 10km up the road I find the fish in the patty has almost completely dried up. I threw the burger out the window for the birds - it was inedible. The patty must've been 6 hours old.
The next time I was in Corowa I went to Maccas and mentioned it. The customer service attendant immediately entered robot mode, "You should've called and we would've made you another one." I politely and quietly explained I'm a truckie driving a B-Double and I can't just turn around when 10km up the road, drive 10km back and then have to make up 10km to get back to where I was for a Fillet of Fish. She replied again using the exact same words, "You should've called and we would've made you another one." I replied, "I've tried to explain why I couldn't come back." The customer service attendant was unrelenting, "Why didn't you call we would've made you another one." She was effectively blaming me and demonstrating she wasn't to be held accountable for McDonald's mistake. I was mildly annoyed and nearly replied without thinking, "You just don't listen do you?" I caught myself before I opened my mouth in case she mistook what I was saying as abuse. I decided instead to write this wholly deserved 1 star review instead. All that needed to happen was for her to offer me another Fillet of Fish and it would've been the end of it. Instead she decided on McDonald's behalf a Pyrrhic victory was better option than looking after a repeat customer.
The proprietors must have so much money they can allow staff to hector customers like this. Mistakes happen but how you handle them is not an opportunity for a staff member to play power games with full paying repeat customers. I won't be returning. You won I lost....
Read moreWent through drive thru, 3 cars were put into park and there was only 2 waiting bays (no other cars behind). So I had to park in the normal car park. The staff forgot about me. There was only one other car in the regular car park, they didn’t even bother to come out and check. They were not busy, us 3 were the only customers. I was waiting over 10 minutes then went inside to see my food sitting on the bench. The girl just tried to blame another staff member, but they were all to blame. The food was cold. My raisin toast was squashed to a few millimetres and burnt, it was hard to chew through it. I usually never complain as I worked at McDonald’s in my teen years and sympathise with the staff, but there was no excuse for this. Every single time I’ve been to this McDonald’s it has been the worst experience. I don’t understand how this McDonald’s can get it so wrong. What’s up with you guys! It’s really not that hard! If anything the fact that you are in a small country town with not as many customers should absolutely work in your favour! You have more time to...

Every mcdonalds I go to I order the beef patties with the onions, and what usually happens is they give me the whole cheeseburger or they forget the onions or they give me 3 separate boxes or they give me attitude or they give me arguments about how I gotta use the app but the app doesn't really allow for this order at this price or whatever, and it's like....
