I recently had the pleasure of spending Grand Final day at the Albion Hotel, and I must say, the experience exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was electric, charged with excitement and the communal spirit of the big game. Firstly, the décor of the Albion Hotel enhances the overall experience. Clean, chic, and inviting, it offers the perfect backdrop for either a casual hangout or a more special event like Grand Final day. The seamless blend of a lively bar area with comfortable seating areas ensured that everyone had a perfect view of the game. The food was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish we tried was perfectly crafted, with a wonderful balance of flavors and presentation. The menu boasted a great variety of options catering to all tastes, from classic pub favorites to more sophisticated fare. The highlight for me had to be the buffalo wings - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a sauce that was simply divine. The kitchen staff truly outdid themselves. Now, to the heart of my review – the service, which was headlined by the incredible Ella. From the moment she greeted us with a warm smile, it was clear that she was dedicated to ensuring every guest had a memorable day. Ella was attentive, efficient, and remarkably personable, balancing the demands of a packed venue with ease and grace. Whether helping us choose the perfect drinks to match our meals or making sure everyone was comfortable and satisfied, Ella was a standout. Her presence added a special touch to the day, turning a great experience into an unforgettable one. Given the high stakes and excitement of Grand Final day, I was incredibly impressed by how smoothly everything ran. The staff handled the large crowd efficiently, maintaining prompt service without compromising on quality. The drinks were consistently well-made, and the energy in the hotel was vibrant and contagious. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a big game, or just want to enjoy a fantastic meal in a welcoming environment, I highly recommend the Albion Hotel. And if you're lucky enough to get Ella as your server, you're in for an even more exceptional experience. Albion Hotel has truly set the bar high when it comes to hospitality, and I can't wait for my next visit. Cheers to a...

Last night I wandered into this cozy little bar I’d never been to before—mostly because I was lured in by the promise of “two-for-one cocktails” and the subtle glow of neon lights that whispered bad decisions welcome here. The place had just the right amount of sticky floors and suspiciously vintage decor to feel authentic, but the real showstopper was my server, a legend named Oli. Now, Oli didn’t just bring drinks—no, no—Oli delivered experiences. I ordered a gin and tonic, and Oli nodded like I’d just passed some ancient test of wisdom. Five minutes later, he returned not only with the crispiest G&T I’ve ever had, but with a napkin folded into what I’m pretty sure was a flamingo and a story about how he once outran a goose on a unicycle (I still don’t know if he was joking, but I respect the hustle). Every time he came by the table, he had a new quip, a cocktail pun, or an unsolicited but oddly profound life lesson—“Always trust a bartender with a mustache,” he said solemnly, despite not having one himself. By the end of the night, I was convinced Oli was part-time philosopher, full-time wizard, and maybe even the unofficial mayor of the bar. The service was so good, I left a tip that was almost responsible—and I may or may not have promised to name my firstborn after him. All in all, 10/10 would let Oli emotionally manipulate me...

I highly recommend Albion Hotel as a great and affordable venue to host a function. We had a Post-Wedding Party in the Queen Victoria Ballroom. The staff were excellent. Our event-coordinator Shannen, always responded to emails immediately or the very next day. She was professional and friendly, and always ready to help. She made special time to meet with us and my parents, to answer all my questions and go over the room set up and design. She organised drink voucher tokens for our guests, and helped us decide on platters and organised the alcohol at our bar. Shannen and her team set up the function room exactly as we wanted it, and she even helped us with decorations by suggesting and adding candles all around the room for us. It made it look beautiful. Staff were excellent during the night, both at the bar and bringing platters of food around for our guests. Our guests commented on how great the food was – delicious, well presented and plenty of it! We were able to use the projector to display photos, have a live band, and also use the side room to store items. Our function was beautiful and it ran so smoothly, thanks to the organisation and dedication of Shannen and the staff. We really...

My daughter and I decided to try the Sunday morning breakfast advertised on the wall outside the hotel... Admittedly, it was very quiet when we arrived ( which was early).... It seems to be a new option they're offering, but the usual high standard of food from their kitchen was evident.... Choices of muesli, eggs benedict etc. were washed down with delightful cups of cappuccino and hot chocolate!!! I believe the Albion Hotel is a hidden treasure in the Cottesloe/Claremont area. Once you've been inside, and enjoyed their hospitality, you are much more likely to become a regular!!!
