The Boatshed is probably the best example of this trend towards "premium" delis that are becoming popular around Perth. Great hot food collection, lots of variety. Boat shed is in a lane of it's own. It is pricey but you pay for the fine quality and service. If you go and complain that a boxed item is $6 less In another shop then you're in the wrong section. A beautifully done shopping experience and definitely caters to the locals of the area. Have been 3 times now, and only purchased something once. The prices are comparable to restaurants for take-home meals, so didn't see the point - we went out instead. Tested their prawns against Coles at Claremont - now theirs were better, but not 250%+ better... Def worth a visit when...
