There was a really awful review before my review, so I wonder if the previous review of 1 star is genuine or intentional. I don't care about their review, my review matters because I went, I tried their dishes and here's my HONEST OPINIONS.
We didn't book, it was one of those spur of the moment, it was Friday night, we arrived about 7pm. If get a table, great, if not, will try next time. Luckily we were given a table. It was busy when we got there, noticed few tables with reserved sign.
The waiter told us that they are quite busy and food may be a little delayed. That was nice warming I thought. In comparison to other places we've been where no notice and we had waited for over an hour.
The food arrived reasonably timely, it wasn't that late at all.
I'm telling you, they were all delicious!! The Steak Chinese Style, we have never tried before and we asked if it was spicy. The waiter said no, it is cooked in oysters sauce. The meat was so tender and so tasty. We loved it so much. It had broccoli which were also cooked in perfection. Not soggy, still crispy. The King Prawns in garlic sauce were so scrumptious. Very tender and juice, definitely not overcooked. The Combination Omelette was sooooo tasty and soft in the middle. So moist. The salty fish and chicken fried rice was so flavoursome. It was not salty nor fishy so please try this. The combination just lingers in your tastebuds. Really delicious.
The service were also very professional, presentable, and polite. They all had their duties and seemed very confident in doing all their chores. They are all very quick and yet graceful and mindfu of their customers. I noticed the waiting area is very busy too with takeaway orders.
As the waiters pass by our side to deliver dishes ordered by others, I can't help notice the dishes, sizzling, looking so delicious and inviting.
I also went to the toilet to wash my hands before eating our meals, and the toilets were small but organised and clean.
My only comments were about the two plights of stairs to get there. We are fine to climb the stairs but I thought of elderly patrons, and people with mobility issues. I didn't notice any lifts, perhaps best to call this place first to check if there are mobility issues in your group.
I know two family members who would enjoy their food but will definitely struggle getting up there.
Other that the above comment, I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and would love to come back there.
Shall I recommend this place to others? Oh yes!!!! But please call and book, don't copy us,...
Read moreBest chinese food i've had in at least 7 years since moving back to Aus from London, can't believe some of the negative reviews, this place is far superior to any other place we've tried and definitely deserves being tested by first time customers!! Sweet and sour pork was flavoursome and not overbattered, with chewy slightly crunchy thin batter. Honey king prawns were juicy and tender, and the satay beef was hearty with quality meat that wasn't chewy or tough. Fried rice was fluffly and full of flavour. Absolutely loved every dish! So glad we gave Jade Court a go and will certainly be back with the whole family. Tip - make sure you make the effort to grab takeaway / don't use ubereats to deliver as they charge a fortune! Ubereats tried to add around $8 to EVERY dish plus a delivery fee, the ubereats price was outrageous so we just picked...
Read moreMy husband and I have visited Jade Court three times now, and every visit has been a delight! From the moment we walk in, we are always warmly welcomed, making us feel right at home.
The food is simply outstanding—especially their fried rice, which we’ve fallen in love with. Every bite is packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and truly memorable. The menu has a great variety, but we keep coming back to that signature fried rice!
The staff is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting—perfect for a relaxed meal out. Jade Court has become our go-to spot for delicious Chinese food, and we can’t recommend it enough.
We’re already looking forward to...
