I am local and I used to visit this cafe regularly. Ive just moved back from over east and was looking forward to brunch and coffee except my visit was really disappointing. I asked for a dairy free option and when my breakfast arrived I saw some dairy on my plate. When I mentioned this they just took my plate away without saying much - like I was an inconvenience. My plate arrived 5 minutes later and it looked like my original breakfast but re-plated. If you have an intolerance you’ll know that the slightest piece of food can cause a reaction. They weren’t helpful or understanding and just said ‘we’re busy’. I won’t return. Recommend you don’t either. Coffee tasted burnt too! I assumed that the vegan option may be mushrooms, toast, tomato and avocado. The breakfast I received was mushrooms on toast but I paid the same as anyone receiving the non-vegan breakfast.
