Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant Cowra — Restaurant in Cowra

Being an ex head waiter this review comes not easy. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very bland and very dull. There was no official greeting upon entry and had to wait for someone to come out from the back even though the restaurant was empty.

The older woman with tattoos was very poor with her customer service skills. Her approach to the table was like she did not want to be there. It felt very rushed with how she was taking our order. Upon everyone at my table the woman did not repeat anyone’s orders back and grabbed the menus and walked off.

My partner and I ordered entrees which was missing a serve of spring rolls. This is because the woman did not repeat the order back to the table to confirm.

Leaning over people to grab plates from the other side of the table is not appropriate and very inconsiderate to my guests.

When it came time to pay her attitude was no better. We originally asked for the bill to be split at the beginning of ordering to which we decided to pay all together and sort out the differences later. To which the woman’s attitude was oh really in a rude tone.

Would definitely not...

Well after travelling for 4 hrs decided I needed some comfort food Soup San Choy Bow Soup was soooo salty could not eat it ! Sent it back another tiny bowl arrived just as salty 🤦‍♀️ ! San choy bow to my understanding has veggies cut very very small with a lovely sauce ..mince with pine nuts ( not all restaurants serve pine nuts) But delicious

This San Cho Bow was just dry mince meat With chlli powder ... No vegies When I asked .. The lovely girl serving She had no idea what it was or eat shook be in it 🙄🤷‍♀️

She came back from the kitchen some 10 minutes later Saying that’s how it’s done there Staff very friendly Obviously they gave not had appropriate , mentoring on the menue … What this good is all about
