Charnwood Turkish Pide — Restaurant in District of Belconnen

The overall experience was pleasant. We got the banquet for two people. $23per person.

The serving of the meal was enough for 3-4 people. Huge amount of food. Definitely value for money on ports.

Chicken skewers where huge with lots of meat. Nicely cooked with good flavor.

The zucchini balls where lacking in zucchini and more like fried bread balls with carrot. We didn't receive the meatballs. Instead we had 2 extra zucchini balls which was a little disappointing considering neither of us really liked the zucchini balls.

Turkish bread was a huge serving with 2 different dips. We picked patlica (eggplant) and pancar (beetroot). Both dips where very nice and fresh.

The Pide Kusbasili was a little disappointing. It was quite doughy and had little toppings on it it. It also was a huge serving for two people.

Been going there for a couple of years however tonight when we picked up the food the Zucchini Balls were disgusting. Tasted as if they were sitting around all day and simply re heated. Also could not cut them as they were very rubbery. We phoned them to complain and they insisted they were freshly cooked. Not even an apology. Will not use them again. Very disappointed. Thank you for responding. However, this food was for our Nephew's birthday and the poor quality provided took the edge off our celebrations. Having to do a 30 minute round trip for the sake of a few dollars is not really worthwhile. An exchange or refund will not repair the bad experience. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the pide from this place. I am a big Turkish pide fan and I have had Turkish pide from many restaurants across canberra but this place dropped the ball. The bread was just normal white bread with a few sesame seeds, ZERO SEASONING TOO!!!!!! THE veggies were raw too, they couldn't even spare me salt. Torture!
