Ohhhh, where do I start!! Also it shows 3.5 stars on an overall average, but somehow on the graph shows mostly 5 stars??? Very confused by that and think it’s dodgy as can be!! Because I would give NO stars, but can’t if I want to leave a review.. I wish I had read reviews first!!
I have never ordered from Crust, but gave it a go.. I paid a WHOPPING $34.00 for two “starters”, a bbq chicken calzone ($10), and 6 chicken wings ($12), and dessert, which was supposed to be Lotus biscoff spread (DRENCH) scrolls with additional caramel sauce ($10)!!! Description said scrolls (DRENCHED IN lotus biscoff spread), with an “additional” caramel sauce on the side??????
Ummmm, so, see the pictures of what I got!! Could NOT taste ANY biscoff because there was NONE inside them, in fact NOTHING inside them!! Instead, I got not only EMPTY scrolls, but also BURNT on the outside, raw dough on the inside, (DESSERT) scrolls that had NO biscoff filling in them AT ALL??????
EVERYTHING I received was STONE COLD, overcooked outside, raw dough inside, and the order was left on my front porch with just the three boxes of food, no bag, left in the cold, for the ants to and dirt on the step to get in!! The wings were stone cold, DRY like they had been cooked about 5 times, barely any Smokey bbq sauce.. The Calzone, was stone cold, dry, overcooked on the outside, barely any sauce or filling, just thick undercooked dough inside, and NO cheese in it??? It was mostly dough..
THE WORST I have EVER had from ANY pizza establishment in my 54 years of existence!! How they are still in business is BEYOND me!! And now reading all mostly negative reviews, (wish I read BEFORE) ordering, and I see the exact SAME complaints and issues, and same excuses and apologies to people from the owner for YEARS, that they are sorry and will address the issues, yet in ALL this time they have done NOTHING, but continue to make same excuses and apologies..
OWNERS, People work hard for their money and in this day and age, most can rarely order out, then when they do, they receive this horrible inedible food??? How would you feel spending a fortune only to receive not just substandard, but FAR BELOW standard food???
FAR FROM ACCEPTABLE!!! STOP MAKING FAKE EXCUSES FOR IT AND EMPTY PROMISES to fix it!! DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!! It’s all good and well to rip people off, who can barely afford to eat out, and serve them INEDIBLE, YES, “INEDIBLE” food, then say sorry!! I don’t want an excuse I want a refund!!
Ps, that white strip, is the inside of the supposedly (DRENCHED biscoff scroll)!! It looks like a roll of toilet paper!!
Edit:, response from owners… Firstly, stated (the LACK of filling) in the biscoff scrolls, there was NONE, ZERO, ZILCH) biscoff!! The sauce is the (additional) caramel sauce!! Secondly, exact SAME as every other complaint, we are sorry, we will address it!! I am out of pocket $34.00 and RARELY splurge, because I am on a pension, and went hungry because NONE of it was edible!!...
