I've been coming here for years and usually the food has been consistently good but lately it's been pretty hit and miss which is disappointing. The last 2 times I've bought take away (including this evening) I've been overcharged by a few dollars each time. As I've done pick up on each occasion it's not worth the $3.00 over charge to return to the store (the petrol would cost more!) to be reimbursed but it's starting to get really annoying. It's bad enough prices have increased exponentially but to be overcharged $3 - $5 each time I do a pickup almost feels like robbery - especially when I've been a loyal customer for many many years. Have ordered take away and dined in from here for years and it was fantastic! Very fresh and cooked perfectly. However, ordered take away from here on 25/2/2024 and it wasn’t as good. The lemon chicken has a different sauce and the special fried rice has also changed. It doesn’t have the same ingredients. Food didn’t taste as fresh and they used to just chuck in a large bag of prawn chips (grandkids love them). Consistently great food. Service is always efficient, effective and friendly enough. Pay le$$ for ca$h. If you are picking up take-away, they are always very careful to make sure you are not walking out with someone else's order. I quite like the Scallops, Ginger and Shallots, even though it is probably 'scallops' of stingray instead of shellfish.
