Kickstart Expresso in Fyshwick is one of my favorite spots for a quick and satisfying coffee stop. The drive-through service is super convenient, especially when I’m on the go, no need to get out of the car, and the service is always fast and efficient. They open at 6 on weekdays and 7 on Saturday. 'Nuff said. Their coffee is drinkable and they have a pretty good selection of takeaway foods. Asking for a muffin to be heated up WILL result in a lava-bomb, so give it plenty of time to cool! The Tradies toasted ham, cheese and tomato with relish is pretty good; but, again, be careful pulling out a sandwich-half as the kitchen staff appear to use blunt knives and rarely achieve clean cuts. I was lamenting to ChatGPT that I missed drive thru coffee shops (a staple of the Pacific Northwest), especially now that I was a parent with a toddler prone to falling asleep in the car.
