Oritea — Restaurant in District of Canberra Central

The mango passion fruit with white pearl is so good, and the price is even better ($5.30 with a membership card). I came here on a Saturday night around 10pm after Super Emoji shut 10 minutes before their closing time on their website.

Thank god they did because even though I live above Oritea - for some reason I’ve only had it on their opening week and I guess it was just ok then which is why I haven’t been back. However, a few months down the track and their teas have gotten really good!! Anyway even if you don’t like cheese topped tea or milk tea PLEASE try the mango passion fruit with white pearl - it is sweet enough...

Real good. Really milky and nice flavour. Price is good, service was pleasant, location is convenient from Canberra Centre, the place is great! A small shop, but very warm and cosy inside with some room to sit.

I ordered half sugar, which is what I usually do at other boba joints, which provided only a faint sweetness. Id say the 1/2 sugar here is like 1/4 at other places. (Im no expert, this is anecdotal). So id personally get more sugar next time.

A definite must if you're in the area...

shoutout to the galin who stayed back late today, it was very busy night and he got hit with a lot of orders almost 30 mins before closing. there were customers with many requests to change their tea even after they placed the order but he did not get annoyed and politely made their orders. He must have been very stressed and tired, and I’m really sorry for placing an order so late, I didn’t realise there were so many. He was really polite to me even to the very end.
