Specials for tonight read: beef cheek bites w dijon mustard, aioli & lemon. It sounded like a healthy meal with meat. When it got served I could only see in the plate fried bread or potato crumbed balls. I tried to bite one ball and finally found 1g of meat. I can’t eat fried food and many people avoid fried food because it’s not healthy.
I think that should have been said on the menu. When I mentioned it to one of the staff she was almost annoyed that I was offering my feedback. I politely said that I thought that the fact it was fried should have been said in the menu. The waitress faked a smile and showed no interest. I was only trying to help by giving them some feedback. She was annoyed and dismissive.
Just for the future: you need to apologise for the misunderstanding and thank the customer for the feedback. Then you do whatever you like with it. At least show some appreciation.
