Psychedeli — Restaurant in District of Canberra Central

We were running late for an appointment in the building upstairs. I dropped my wife off about 9:30am and she entered the coffee shop to purchase us coffee before the appointment whilst I found a parking spot.

My wife finally got to the front of the line. Whilst ordering the coffees she realised to her dismay she had left her purse in the car. She attempted to explain this to staff and advised I would be there in approximately 1 to 2 minutes and would pay as soon as I walked in and would they mind proceeding with the order. The staff member refused and told her she would need to go to the back of the line which was quite lengthy.

I arrived at the shop about a minute later to find an upset wife in the foyer. She told me what had happened and that the experience had cause her some embarrassment and discomfort in front of the other patrons. She said she felt like she was treated like a criminal trying to steal coffee and then joked about how easy it would be for a 50 year old woman in high heels holding 2 hot cups of coffee to be caught if she tried to run!

Needless to say we didn't line up again and...

Do not hold an event here. Kelly was a nightmare to deal with. Constantly changing policies and requirements everytime we made a request. They tried to make us pay the full bar tab in advance, however it made no sense to pay an on consumption tab in advance. When I asked how we would be reimbursed for whatever was not consumed she ignored my question. On the day we got there an hour before the event started and nothing was done. We were told to move all the furniture ourselves. So we physically had to move all the tables, chairs, bins, brochures etc in our event outfits. There were leaves all through the space and food stuck to the floor. Kelly did not arrive until 15 minutes before the event started. I had specifically paid for an additional staff member, which they did not provide. She was unprofessional the whole time, even at the end of the night when our event time ended, she did not come up to me a quietly say that we need to wrap up. Instead she stared at me from across the wrong and aggressively tapped...

I don't understand how one of the happiest times in a couples life can be put through as many issues as we have. I made my original enquiry through Kelly the events manager. From day 1 I explained that it was imperative that we had the 17th of April available so families from Victoria could travel up to ACT to be there with us. I offered to leave a holding deposit whilst we organised formalities and package options. After MYSELF having to do all forms of follow up and research. I came in on separate occasions only.to find the venue shut when Google stated it was open. After coming in today ready to leave a deposit for the date I found out the it was booked in that morning. I was given zero updates or communication saying that date had interest. I was not offered to leave a deposit as we learned the interested party had not left a deposit either.
