I usually have amazing service at Chatime every week I go but this week like 20 minutes ago there was an employee there with round glasses that I have never seen before so I’m guessing she was new. But she got my order wrong even though I explicitly told her multiple and I mean MULTIPLE times that I wanted a oolong tea with NO MILK with the same toppings as my bubble tea but she didn’t hear me. Then I realised that I forgot the bubble for my mums tea and asked if she could add the pearls in and she said ok and I again specified that I did NOT want milk in the bubble tea. When I told them if t was wrong, the employee said I was wrong. Then I told my mum and when she went to complain she gave my mum an attitude repeatedly saying that I never told her that but I remember saying it 3-4 times. I hope you do something about this employee because I usually have the best experiences there with little problems and the employees are usually very nice. My mum is really really upset because she really wanted the oolong tea.
Why could that employee not admit or apologise for getting the order wrong? My mum was really disappointed as well because usually there isn’t this problem. Like yeah there’s a receipt but I KNOW what I said. And she was so rude and I feel like she should admit she was wrong or apologise or make it again.
The colour of the bubble tea also seemed very off today.
The girl with short black hair with her hair tied up and glasses needs to be fired or apologise for her mistakes cause my friend complained to me a few days ago about the same person.
The other girl with brown Curly hair was also very very rude about my order when I said it was wrong...
Read moreChatime at ANU is confusing and upsetting.
When you see bubble tea place and you think "Damn. I want a bubble tea. That would be so good right now. I will be happier and more fulfilled because bubble tea is so great." Then you go to Chatime at ANU and you die a little bit inside because all of your hope for excellent bubble tea times also die.
The flagship drink of any bubble tea place is the milk tea with pearls. It is the single product against which the whole shop must be judged. Chatime serves weak, watery, dishwater disasters as 'Milk tea with pearls'. Similarly their oolong, and let's not start with the fruit teas.
I've honestly thought that something has gone terribly wrong in the kitchen at Chatime ANU every time I've been there. Just make it better? That's all you need to do. Stop destroying my dreams...
Read moreI've been going here since 2018 and it's so addictive. I'm not a massive fan of their tapioca pearls, I think other bubble tea brands do them better but I absolutely love their strawberry bubble tea and when they had their limited edition pandan milk tea. I love the mix-ins and the staff are always friendly, accommodating and work within a reasonable timeframe. I think it's a great store to introduce your friends to bubble tea and the drinks aren't overly caffeinated so you can even order a drink...
