First time trying and we did not have a smooth and pleasant dinner as expected after reading all the reviews. We ordered 4 dishes: seafood pancake, cold noodle, beef bulgogi and kimchi soup with pork. The pancake and noodle was served on time. And then we were sitting there waiting for the other 2 dishes. 20 minutes later, a staff member approached and asked "What were you guys waiting?" and I told him that we were waiting for the beef and kimchi soup. He checked with the other female staff member and seemed they made a mistake when delivering the dishes. What disappointed us was instead of trying to get the food on time and let us know what was going on, the 4 staff member of FOH gathered behind the counter having a discussion for whose mistake was that, which table the food had gone to. The whole time of their conversation, I was sitting there waiting for someone approach us with an explanation. 5 minutes after that, we decided to cancel the dishes and leave. When my partner told the staff we would like to cancel the rest of our meal and paid, one of them told him our food was waiting. At this time, we were even more disappointed and insisted on paying and leave. I hope the restaurant can have better communication and management over the order control and service. We quite enjoyed the decoration and the seafood pancake. I am sorry but they are the only highlights from my...

Good -Feels nice and warm interior. -Home made style Korean food. -Super friendly owners. -Fresh organic ingredients and vegetables. -Not salty. -No break time for kitchen. -I loved 70's and 80's old Korean Folk Songs here. -I recommend 'Chaje'and 'Bokum Bop'.

Bad -Not recommend Soups or Stews based on 'Dwaeji Haejang Guk'. I loved ingredients but stew was too weak and watery. -Mandu (korean style dumpling) looked like frozen one which you can buy it from korean supermarket. I was expecting hand made mandu because price was high. -Nil side dishes at all. Actually owner said that they targeted local Ozzys which I understood. Anyhow this was first Korean restaurant which did not provide any side dishes at all. Most Korean restaurant provide 3 - 4 side dishes without charge. But you may have to pay some if you want to ask for extra...

Wholesome home style cooking amongst the best Korean food I've had. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the care taken in preparing each dish.

We went for dinner on boxing day (I'm so happy they were open, as the restaurant we had booked fell through due to covid).

We loved the shik-he (like a barley and cereal flavour) and peach with coco palm jelly drinks.

The seafood pancake had an abundance of seafood and was very filling. Kimchi soup was homely, with lots of nice tofu and vegetables, not overly salty or acidic (which is a good thing). Vegetarian bibimbap was large and filled to the brim with vegetables, sauce seemed housemade. Portions are pretty big so try not to over-order.

Also, sit at the back, it's nicer (and they have separate female and male toilets).

We would definitely...

Seafood Jijim ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sundubu⭐⭐⭐not bad not impressive, but considering the size and price Beef Bulgogi⭐⭐⭐⭐good, a bit too salty Cold Noodle⭐totally different from classical Korean cold noodle. And more importantly, it's bland - not healthy or tasty bland, but boring, very boring. The noodle itself was getting soggy... Maybe that explains why the soup was little Chapjae⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐very good BTW I think they were kinda understaffed because there's only one guy taking care of both the front and the garden. And eating at the front space was more liking having food in a retail shop which was strange.
