Full disclosure: I am a fan of Subway and this is my first negative incident with them. So, I'll try to be as truthful as possible and just say it, as it is.
The food at Subway tastes great, the customer service is usually on point and the prices are quite affordable.
The problem I had, however, is there quality control and communication. As a customer when I order a sub and specifically mention that I don't want chili or jalapenos, I expect that the worker pays attention and follows simple instructions.
Instead, what I got was a worker who didn't pay attention, who put it on regardless and when I pointed it out. They chose to give attitude and individually picked them off the sub. It wasn't until I refused to purchase it at that point, that they finally scrapped the whole thing and made a new one.
Now, I do understand that people do make mistakes and that the incident was resolved in the end, however, what really got me was the attitude displayed and that they didn't start over from the beginning.

Read moreWe went to ACT during flower show in October and visted the store around 9.00 am on the labour day. While there were not many customers in the morning and the store was not even busy, the staff appeared to be not interested to take orders. We were so disappointed with the behavior of staff working in the store. One of the staff member was very arrogant, unprofessional and impolite. I asked him to change gloves after he had touched meat to prepare sub as one of our order was for vegetarian family member. Instead of simply changing his gloves, he started to argue and trying to justify his reason why it is ok not to change gloves. After further request he did reluctantly changed gloves but it appears he lacks the basics of the customer...
Read moreIf I could rate 0 stars I would , extremely rude store manager , lazy , unhygienic too , when asked for a little tiny bit more lettuce manager grabbed a huge handful and literally slapped it on , when asked for a tiny bit of maybe she sauced the whole thing then asked for not that much as I said a little bit and she just took some salad off it , wore the same gloved she used for the customer before us also which they had tomato and I’m allergic to the juices in this which were on the gloves when complained to them about the poor effort her response was I don’t need to put in effort it’s fast food which is a bad attitude to have also argued with me extremely bad customer service understand why it’s only 2 star definitely need a new store...
