The Jetty is located on the east side of the reconciliation place by Lake Burley Griffin. It is a good place to catch up with friends and family for a bite to eat and a drink, whilst enjoying the view in the sunshine and a little live music in the background.

There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit, both indoors and out. Outside tables have umbrella shades.

The Jetty cafe serves coffee, teas, milkshakes and usual cold drinks from the fridge, to go with the selection of cakes, pastries and protein balls. For those looking for something a tad more substantial, there are focaccias, wraps, frittatas, acai bowls, pies, sausage rolls, spinach and ricotta rolls and more.

There is a Fricken Chicken burger caravan, along with Bentspoke brewery and wine caravan.

It can be busy on warm days, especially over weekends and public holidays. The Jetty can be a good reward stop after a walk around the central part of the lake, commonly known as the bridge to bridge walk.

There is plenty of parking at The National Library, and...

Incredibly unprofessionally run venue. We made a booking for a large group some time ago in the off season, and the operators of the Jetty assured us they would be open for the season on our chosen date. They weren't organised to open when they planned, so couldn't actually accommodate us on our booked date after all. We changed our event to the following weekend. Received a booking confirmation request a couple of days beforehand, which we confirmed. When we turned up for our booking to find the venue locked up and all the vendors gone for the day, even though we had a booking for 20 people and it was well before their listed closing time. They had not bothered to email us to let us know. Pretty poor showing on their behalf. We took our business elsewhere, and will continue to do...

Hi Bailey, Rena and Team, We just wanted to say a massive thank you to the staff who assisted us on Saturday evening for my wife's 40th birthday celebrations party!

We had an absolutely wonderful time and can't thank you enough for the effortless event we were able to host with the smooth operations from your staff and the vendors.

We have had multiple friends reach out to say it was the most terrific venue (what a vibe!) , the music was amazing (kids were all dancing the night away with a great acoutic show) and the food all absolutely divine! (chicken strips got smashed!, mix of pizzas were delicious!) We cannot thank you enough.

Your staff were all wonderful!! Very friendly, helpful, ready to assist wherever they could and it made for an amazing evening out with...

A Sunday morning ride and finishing with lunch at The Jetty. Weather was fab. Live music added to the atmosphere where the crowd in attendance all seemed to be rather chilled and just soaking up the rays by the lake. For lunch I had the spicy garlic tofu (yeah, not everyone's first choice) from Joo and Nee's Asian Street Food ( I do like how they do it) - Tasty, spicy and filling . . . and provides enough fuel for the ride home. Oh, I did have a Bentspoke sprocket beer, very hoppy and full of flavour - a good combination with the food. Not a bad way to spend a lunchtime or afternoon . . quite a diverse range of people in attendance.

Family friends took my family and I here to eat. The place had a peaceful atmosphere with a nice view of the river. The food was quite nice too and the presentation was very Instagram worthy. I think we ordered a few cauli b burgers, two pizzas.. I think one was mushroom and the other was just standard vegetarian, corn ribs and then a side of chips. There are QR codes on the tables, but you do have to go collect your order at the stalls located near where you walk to sit down. Overall a pleasant experience, I recommend going if you're near the area! Just watch out for the seagulls :)

Stopped by for lunch after visiting Questacon in Canberra. The food was delicious, with generous serving sizes. The schnitzel roll was crisp but not oily, and the slaw dressing was flavourful without being overpowering. However, the staff missed our coffee order, and we had to reorder. The coffees we received didn’t quite seem like cappuccinos – they were closer to flat whites. The setting by the water was fantastic, and it added to the experience. Canberra’s thoughtful city layout and beautiful scenery made the visit even more enjoyable.
