I was here at the grand opening and it was packed, which is good cause we want it to stay. Despite the huge crowd they organised all the people flows and cooking smoothly, so the wait time was reasonable considering the situation. The restaurant is spacious and fit a lot of people. We were worried we'd have to eat outside but easily managed to get seats. Some tables are huge and can accommodate big groups. Staff were friendly and smiling. You could see they were really happy to see all the people on that day that they'd been looking forward to for so long. Food wise everything was great. Portions were huge and good value. One chicken can easily feed 3-4 people. the staff were very generous with fries, which were not overcooked, not too oily and overall very delicious with heaps of chicken salt all over them. Garlic sauce is da bomb, green herbs mixed with tomatoes and onions are legit. Never tried before but now a big fan. So glad they opened in Gungahlin close to my house, proving once again that North Canberra is the best Canberra. Only request - please have some kind of automated order notification system either using a personal beeper or a big screen with numbers displayed. I like getting the mixed chicken meal; the fried chicken is on point, moist inside, not too salty and not oily at all, with a lovely crunchy outside, way better than Kingsley's and KFC. The charcoal chicken is tender, moist and chock full of delicious charcoal flavour. The gravy is the best chicken shop gravy I've ever had. I love the garlic sauce, super fluffy and and full of garlicky flavour. The pickles and tabouli are fantastic, the meal didn't come with them so I added them, definitely worth it. The coleslaw is good if you like creamy coleslaw. The chips aren't bad but not the best, could be crispier and could go easier on the chicken salt. The bread is good for turning leftovers into wraps the next day. Dining in I found the tables were not very clean. Be aware there are no toilets, you'll have to use the ones in the shopping centre.
